Marley had found herself outside hiding without her jacket. L.A was surprisingly cold for the night and she was regretting it. A lot. She was just about to text Santana to ask her where she was when she heard her voice. âSan!â Marley said with a huge smile, as she got up and walked over hugging the brunette. âIâm hiding from Tad from the So-Ho branchâŚHe keeps asking me who my songs are about. Does he still exist? Do I have a boyfriend? Do I have a midnight kiss? I had to hide!â she shook her head and looked at Santana. âI was going to text youâŚbut youâre like an angel and just showed up!â
Santana wrapped her arms around the girl in a warm embrace. She found Marley to be a ray of sunshine, a true joy in her life. Usually, Santana would find such constant optimism to be a bit settling, even almost annoying, but there was something charming about sweet Marley Rose. She pulled away to look at Marley, raising an eyebrow. âMars, have I taught you anything?â She nearly shook the girlâs shoulders. âYou gotta tell the creep off. Tellâim heâs gotta start leaving you alone or else.. I dunno, youâll report him or something.â She knew that Marley couldnât actually threaten Tad or risk losing her job. âYeah, yeah, I know. Iâm like that one angel from Grease. A blessing, really.â She teased with a grin.Â
