Recently my bf fucked up. He stole and sold an item because he needed money. He got caught and he's trying to fix what he did by returning the item and turning himself in. Meanwhile my brother is trying to set me up with his friends and my dad is grinning ear to ear while telling me that my bf is going to jail. My sister laughed and said that he deserves to go to jail because of what he did. A parent shouldn't be happy about their kid's heart break and pissed at their happiness. Siblings shouldn't just assume that you're breaking up with your s/o because they fucked up a long time ago. They shouldn't immediately tell all their friends that your single. They shouldn't be laughing at your pain. What happened to love conquers all??? Why is it wrong of me to keep dating the man I love because he fucked up??? Nobody is perfect but he's perfect to me. He makes me happy and I'm willing to stay loyal to him while he fixes his mistake. Even if he goes to jail.
