⨠how to manifest â¨
hi babes, Iâm back! wanted to make a quick post on my manifestation routine and some of the essential steps necessary for the law of attraction to be effective. for those of you who donât know what the fuck Iâm talking about, the loa states that our thoughts, beliefs, and intentions create our reality. there are various methods, of course, but this routine has worked beautifully for me! Iâve manifested an entire business, a dream job, $2k in 24hours, my soul family, & so much more! letâs jump into this shit!Â
1. get in a high vibrational state of being! what does this mean? it means focus on eliciting positive emotions and feelings at the start of this process. when we raise our vibration, shift our mood, weâre more in alignment with what we desire. in a high vibrational state, youâll feel bubbly, happy, and excited! do anything that you can to achieve a higher vibration! listen to music, watch some R.IP vine compilations on youtube, dance around your room, etc. do whatever the fuck you gotta do. struggling with depression or anxiety? itâs okay! this state only has to be maintained for a couple of minutes for it to be effective.Â
2. set your intention! what are you trying to bring into your life? to set your intention, all you have to do is write it or speak it out loud. pro tip: instead of saying âI want to manifest xyzâ, say âI am ready to receive xyzâ. the word âwantâ creates more lack and will keep you in a state of âwantingâ. another ex: âI am manifesting my perfect partnerâ vs. âI am going to manifest my perfect partner.Â
3. visualize your desire manifesting. this is the fun part! vividly imagine and feel what it would be like to hold the desired amount of cash in your hand. what emotions would you feel if you were given what you asked for? being able to truly envision having your desire is going to make it a reality in your mind and put you in alignment to receive it in the physical.
4. detach from the outcome. definitely the part that everyone fucking hates. itâs important to let go of any attachment and trust that the universe will deliver what it is that youâve asked for. surrender and allow it to unfold. donât stress about when, where, or how it will manifest. just trust that it will happen. this is the one area where most people get stuck!
5. act as if you already have what you desire. this is also a pretty fun part! how would you feel if you had everything that you wanted? probably pretty fucking fantastic. acting as if sends a message to the universe that you are ready.Â
6. & finally, take action! sometimes the universe will just drop blessings right in front of us, yes, but not always. youâre probably not going to find the love of your life if you spend all day in your house. youâre not going to become a famous actress if you donât get up and audition! the universe can do so much for us but we also need to work with it. donât just wait around for something to happen. search and be open to receiving the opportunities that you ask for.Â
THANKS, THATâS ALL I GOT FOR YOU BBYS !! hit me up with any questions and reblog with your manifestation tips or stories! share the good vibes. đđ

Advice for pre-Meds
To keep up during college, itâs really just small amounts of consistent dedication. You can still have free time and maintain a high GPA, work in a lab, and volunteer for an hour a week if you manage youâre time well.Â
Study early- for classes, I rewrite my notes right after class (since memory retention goes down so much over time, the sooner you reinforce the material, the better) and I make flash cards and study guides as we go through the material so that when itâs test time, thereâs no need to cram or have extra stress (I really hate stress). And if you get a B (or even a C), thatâs really ok too.Â
For the extracurriculars- you have to know that thereâs no one route to medical school. You can do a variety of different things and theyâll accept it. For me, I really hated research. I did it for one semester and couldnât stand it. But I liked teaching so instead, I worked in a teaching lab rather than a research lab and got to help explain the material to the students.Â
For volunteering- find something you like. Donât volunteer somewhere just because you think medical schools will like it. My main volunteer experiences were being a bible study leader and working with hospice care patients. I spent about 3 hours a week with those two activities and it didnât feel like work, it felt fun. Pick activities that arenât a chore. Oh and write down little things about the volunteering and clinical experiences you get as you go.  For the actual medical school application, you have to describe each experience and talk about what they meant to you and itâs much easier to recall why that thing you did 3 years ago mattered to you if you have a little note to yourself that you can look back onÂ
Clinical experience/shadowing experience- main advice for this is to start early and spread it out. Donât wait for the last semester before you apply to try and get 200 hours in a hospital. The stress and pressure will make you miserable. But, if you try for once or twice a semester to shadow a different type of physician, then by the end, youâre application will look really good. For clinical experience, there are ways to multitask. My hospice volunteering also counted for clinical experience and I worked as an ER scribe (which also helped me get letters of recommendation)
MCAT- I know the MCAT is what stops a lot of students from wanting to go to medical school. Â Iâm not gonna lie; it is long, it is difficult, and it can be scary. Â But, if you start studying early and spend enough time doing practice tests and reviewing the material, you can get through it. Â I recommend getting prep books fairly early on in college so that after each class you take in University, you can review that subjectâs prep book and see what from that course will be important to remember. Â Then refresh yourself on those concepts a few times a month/semester so when the MCAT rolls around, there are a few subjects you barely need to study since youâve been doing it already. Â
Lastly, donât listen too much to what other people are doing. I know SDN.com is very tempting to stalk but it will do nothing but make you paranoid. Same with youâre other pre-Med classmates who are bragging about their insanely high GPAs. Do youâre own thing and youâll do fine.
âWherever the art of medicine is loved, there is also a love of humanityâ -Hippocrates

How to Study Like a Harvard Student
Taken from Sophia Chua-Rubenfeld, daughter of the Tiger Mother
Preliminary Steps 1. Choose classes that interest you. That way studying doesnât feel like slave labor. If you donât want to learn, then I canât help you. 2. Make some friends. See steps 12, 13, 23, 24. General Principles 3. Study less, but study better. 4. Avoid Autopilot Brain at all costs. 5. Vague is bad. Vague is a waste of your time. 6. Write it down. 7. Suck it up, buckle down, get it done. Plan of Attack Phase I: Class 8. Show up. Everything will make a lot more sense that way, and you will save yourself a lot of time in the long run. 9. Take notes by hand. I donât know the science behind it, but doing anything by hand is a way of carving it into your memory. Also, if you get bored you will doodle, which is still a thousand times better than ending up on stumbleupon or something. Phase II: Study Time 10. Get out of the library. The sheer fact of being in a library doesnât fill you with knowledge. Eight hours of Facebooking in the library is still eight hours of Facebooking. Also, people who bring food and blankets to the library and just stay there during finals week start to smell weird. Go home and bathe. You can quiz yourself while you wash your hair. 11. Do a little every day, but donât let it be your whole day. âThis afternoon, I will read a chapter of something and do half a problem set. Then, I will watch an episode of South Park and go to the gymâ ALWAYS BEATS âStarting right now, I am going to read as much as I possibly canâŚoh wow, now itâs midnight, Iâm on page five, and my room reeks of ramen and dysfunction.â 12. Give yourself incentive. Thereâs nothing worse than a gaping abyss of study time. If you know youâre going out in six hours, youâre more likely to get something done. 13. Allow friends to confiscate your phone when they catch you playing Angry Birds. Oh and if you think you need a break, you probably donât. Phase III: Assignments 14. Stop highlighting. Underlining is supposed to keep you focused, but itâs actually a one-way ticket to Autopilot Brain. You zone out, look down, and suddenly you have five pages of neon green that you donât remember reading. Write notes in the margins instead. 15. Do all your own work. You get nothing out of copying a problem set. Itâs also shady. 16. Read as much as you can. No way around it. Stop trying to cheat with Sparknotes. 17. Be a smart reader, not a robot (lol). Ask yourself: What is the author trying to prove? What is the logical progression of the argument? You can usually answer these questions by reading the introduction and conclusion of every chapter. Then, pick any two examples/anecdotes and commit them to memory (write them down). They will help you reconstruct the authorâs argument later on. 18. Donât read everything, but understand everything that you read. Better to have a deep understanding of a limited amount of material, than to have a vague understanding of an entire course. Once again: Vague is bad. Vague is a waste of your time. 19. Bullet points. For essays, summarizing, everything. Phase IV: Reading Period (Review Week) 20. Once again: do not move into the library. Eat, sleep, and bathe. 21. If you donât understand it, it will definitely be on the exam. Solution: textbooks; the internet. 22. Do all the practice problems. This one is totally tiger mom. 23. People are often contemptuous of rote learning. Newsflash: even at great intellectual bastions like Harvard, you will be required to memorize formulas, names and dates. To memorize effectively: stop reading your list over and over again. It doesnât work. Say it out loud, write it down. Remember how you made friends? Have them quiz you, then return the favor. 24. Again with the friends: ask them to listen while you explain a difficult concept to them. This forces you to articulate your understanding. Remember, vague is bad. 25. Go for the big picture. Try to figure out where a specific concept fits into the course as a whole. This will help you tap into Big Themes â every class has Big Themes â which will streamline what you need to know. You can learn a million facts, but until you understand how they fit together, youâre missing the point. Phase V: Exam Day 26. Crush exam. Get A.
