Bouncy Base Zone

And now we another remix from Mega Man 11.

If Fuse Man isn't the first robot master I go after in the game, then it's usually Bounce Man. His stage isn't too difficult to get through, and his fight is quite easy once you get the pattern down. It certainly helps that his weapon is quite useful as well!

As for his remix...it honestly took a lot in me to create. So far, this was probably the hardest remix for me to make. As far as MM11 is concerned. I couldn't find a good MIDI to use as a reference, so I quite literally had to play the process by ear.

Regardless, it was all worth it in the end! The remix came out great, and I'm eagered to see what you all think of it! With all of that said, I hope enjoy!

Draconic Shores Zone Act 2

(Based on Angel Island Zone Act 2)

Another one...?

So, I don't know how many of you know this, but this isn't actually the first time I published a remix of this stage theme. The first time was back in 2024, on this blog. So why did I decide to make this remix?

1. That was back when I initially used Genny for my Genesis remixes. Since then, I've switch to using Furnace Tracker, and I wanted to try arranging this song using this program.

2. I wanted to try and put a clever twist on this remix. My skills have improved drastically since that time, and I wanted to test them out here.

3. You can never have too much Meiling! I might have remixed both her stage theme and her boss theme once, but I'll gladly remix them again, in all of my main remix styles if I have to!

Torching Forest Zone

And now Torch Man is up!

Torch Man might be the hardest robot master in the game tbh. Provided that you're not using his weakness against him. It doesn't help that his stage is also quite difficult to complete.

Even so, his stage theme is just as excellent as the rest! It's very intense and very fitting for the stage's atmosphere of a blazing forest! I really hope that I managed to convey that in this remix.

Well, that's for you to decide! With this, we're halfway through Mega Man 11's Robot Masters! I have another remix from the game planned to release this month, but in the meantime, I hope you enjoy this remix!

This is probably the first song from Sonic's 3D library of games that I remixed, and to be honest? Making it wasn't as difficult as I thought it'd be.

MML Port's are pretty tough to make in general, and songs from 3D Sonic are more...complex than the songs of the classic games, so it was pretty surprising on how simple this remix was. Probably because this song has the same loop 3 times, just with some minor changes.

I'm certainly not complaining though! Besides, this is a really nice song regardless. It's pretty...atmospheric, if that makes sense.

It feels very good to remix a song from this era of Sonic! I'd very much like to do more remixes from this era (though I do fear the day where I might try and remix Lost Jungle...)

Blast Park Zone

Up next is Blast Man!

This song is honestly another one of my favorites from this game! I just think it's a "blast" to listen to! Get it?! ...Blast, because...it's...nevermind.

Anyways, I thought this song would be pretty hard to recreate, but honestly? It actually wasn't so bad. I've used a few more effects than usual this time around as well. Most notably with the vibrato. Overall, I'm quite happy with how this one turned out!

Hopefully you all share this sentiment. But you'll have to listen for yourselves before coming to a decision. I hope you enjoy!

And now we another mix of a Sonic song!

Heh, bet you weren't expecting the US version of the song, eh? Don't get me wrong. The Japanese version is great, and very iconic to the point where it's pretty much synonymous with Metal Sonic himself. But, we also gotta show the US version some respect as well.

It fits the environment of Stardust Speedway's Bad Future, and it's also got some pretty sick remixes in both Generations and Forces! I honestly prefer this version of the song a little bit more myself, but again, both the US and the Japanese versions of the song are really good! I've even included hints of the latter in this remix.

Alright, enough of that. Regardless of which version of the song you prefer, I hope you enjoy this remix all the same!

This. Level. Is Pain. 😭

Seriously! This is probably the longest level in all of Touhou, and it is absolutely brutal! I actually have to pause the game for a few minutes just to catch break from all the insanity this level has...but hey! At least the song is really good! The beginning is pretty somber sounding, but the latter half ascends to something almost uplifting sounding! That's how I see it at least. I really hope this arrangement does the song justice!

Speaking of which, I actually have an account on SMWCentral now! Going forward, all SNES remixes uploaded to this blog will be released on that site as well, so be sure to keep an eye out! ^ ^

Forgotten Village Zone

【It wavered in the village in which people are not. "MAYOIGA"(apparitional village) refused human always.】

And here's yet another remix from Perfect Cherry Blossom.

I do like this stage theme; it has a sort of melancholic feel to it, but also a hint of playfulness as well, which, coincidently, seems to start once you encounter Chen herself midway through. Pretty fitting, if you ask me!

Having said that, I wanted to try and make this song more...fast-paced, almost action-oriented you could say, so I did try to make a few slight modifications to it while I was working (I increased the BPM). I hope you all like the results!

Storming Tundra Zone

And now for the ever graceful and elegant Tundra Man!

Honestly, I'd have to say that his stage song is one of my favorites in this entire game. It just has a nice wintery feel to it. (Funny how I say that considering that we're nearing Spring, but it is what it is)

Tundra Man's weapon, the Tundra Storm, is pretty useful too. On Torch Man's stage, especially, but also if you need an option to clear all enemies in your way. (Though you do need the Power Gear to utilizing it's screen-clear capabilities to the fullest...)

Mystic Wonderland Zone Boss

And now we have Alice. While she's not my favorite from this game (well, she debuted two games earlier, but you get the point), let alone one of my absolute favorites, she'd certainly be pretty high on the list.

She's got an interesting and mysterious character, and one of her spell cards isn't so hard to dodge compared to some of others in the game (lol) (Though the rest of her's are pretty tough). It's almost a pity that she hasn't had a major appearance in the games since 12.3. Really, the only major appearance she's had outside of databooks is Foul Detective Satori. And we haven't seen since she fainted from getting possessed, so...

E-enough of that though! Like with Alice's stage theme, her boss theme also takes cues from 3D Blast's Panic Puppet Zone. I'm sure you'll be able to hear them throughout the song!

Having said that, I hope you enjoy the remix!

Mystic Wonderland Zone

【Is it snowing even in this paradise? The paradise that is already Alice's playground.】

...So...I recently gave Perfect Cherry Blossom a shot. I hear that it's supposed to be a good starting point if you want to get into the games, but it's still pretty tricky. But hey, it's also pushed me to make a remix that I've actually wanted to try to make for a while.

This song isn't the first remix of a stage theme, no, but I think it's the first that I've done in the retro-style. A major inspiration for it was actually Panic Puppet from the Genesis version of Sonic 3D Blast, so you can expect to hear it's influence in parts throughout this remix.

Fusion StormTower Zone

The Blue Bomber is back! Again! After at least 8 years!

Between the collaboration with Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, the comics, the new Mega Man: Dual Override game that we're getting next year, etc., I'd say that it feels good to be a Mega Man fan right now! Speaking of Dual Override, that was actually what got me thinking about remixing Mega Man 11's soundtrack. And now I've finally commited, so...that's cool.

Anyways, you can expect to see the stage themes of each of the game's Robot Masters throughout the year. Starting with Fuse Man, my personal favorite from this game in fact, between his sick design, cool demeanor, and his weapon (Scramble Thunder), which I think is pretty useful!

But that's enough of that. I hope you enjoy the remix!

Now onto Volcano Valley Act 2!

This act seems to take a more somber tone compared to the Saturn version (of all things), which takes a more intense and adventurous orchestral approach. I do prefer the Saturn's approach a bit more, but this version is still really good too!

I still did want to try and capture the more somber tone the Genesis version goes for in this remix. Did I succeed? I'll let you be the judge of that.

And here's another zone from Sonic 3D Blast's OST!

I've noticed that Volcano Valley has a similar rep as Azure Lake. This song appears a LOT in Sonic ROM Hacks. I've also heard that Final Fortress from Sonic Heroes takes inspiration from this song as well. So, there's that too.

Honestly, while I used to prefer the Saturn version of Act 1 (which is also very good, mind you), I think I might actually like the Genesis version more, now that I've listened to it more times. Given that, again. this song appears a lot in Sonic ROM Hacks, that's a win, in my book!
