Garona is Great

Does he miss familiar regional recipes? Looking at the Diablo cookbook, and while that may have no canon bearing on anything it does give me ideas. There is a recipe from the Wolf City Tavern for venison stew and I can’t help but think maybe Lorath does try to recreate things from his youth. How much or little success he has is certainly up for debate, since he claims he’s no chef and the cauldron in his cabin was less than pleasant. (Of course, we don’t actually know what was in the cauldron.)

Did he like sweets? Before the Reapers destroyed his home and culled half the world, or after?

What would real comfort look like for him? It would almost certainly include not being alone, being loved whether he thought he deserved that or not, but what else? Would comfort have looked like tea, familiar food and weather, and company he could keep? How much, if anything, of himself did he really let himself bring with him and keep through his years of dedication to the Horadrim. Did he dig any of it up in his isolation or bury it deeper.
