Now I'm not here to attack anyone, but I have something I've been wanting to talk about for years.

And I'm done holding back.

When watch movies and TV shows, we enjoy them a lot, but when it comes to familiar characters that we've seen a lot for years, we love them too

However, there's always something off about those same lovable characters that we've seen for years and I'm not just talking about how they act and speak, I'm talking about their Skin tone and essence.

For those of you that don't know fictional characters especially humaniod characters are almost always based on real people, whether intentional or not, fiction borrows from the faces and essence of real people.

Fiction Can't help it, without real faces where do those same lovable characters come from?

They don't come from nowhere, cause there's always a real blueprint and source of a real person that makes a fictional character real and alive.

But here's the thing, studios and fan artists are always defaulting characters to whiteness, especially anthropomorphic animal characters despite the fact that their essence reads warm, textured, and color toned.

Almost every character I've seen that's pale white skinned has literal warm brown or mixed features in their faces, personalities, and essence.

You can draw a character that was unintentionally based on someone real, you can color them pale white and give them any color hair and hair style but the silhouette and essence of the character never lies.

I've seen brown skinned characters get lightened to a tan and pale colored skin tone despite the fact that the silhouette, facial features and face shapes, and essence of the characters clearly screams either Black, Brown, Fudge, Dark, Chocolate, light brown, Sun-kissed, Caramel, Tan, Bronze, Fair, or Mixed.

Not all humanoid characters are white coded just cause a movie studio or company says so, cause they only default to whiteness despite the characters being black, brown, or mixed because mainstream media has taught people that white is the universal default skin tone despite the fact that it never was.

Just like how anime was never the default style for Cuteness and Adorableness, Real people and children were .

It's not okay to white wash black, brown and mixed characters because that's not creative art, it's identity erasure of real people who those fictional characters were intentional or unintentionally based on.

Erasing the true and real essence of a fictional character based on real people is erasing the real person behind them.

This issue needs to stop.

Candy kids that were unintentionally based on real American kids.

There's nothing anime about them, there never was, and the creators never even said they were inspired by Japanese or anime pop culture.

Just because AKB48 sang over the theme song, doesn't mean everything about Sugar Rush and the Racers were ever Japanese and anime pop based.

Their world is heavily based around American Cultured Sweets, not Japanese sweets.

The racers are not anime kawaii idols, they are Cute American kids with American childhood fashion.

All of it in plain sight, I'm not sure how thousands of people missed that detail but whoever started the whole "Sugar Rush was inspired by Japanese games so it's a Japanese game" rumor just caused a lot of confusion and misinformation for a lot of people.

The more people continue to default American characters to anime styles over and over again, the louder the erasure of who those characters true identities and linages they are rooted in become.

I'm not telling people to stop drawing them in anime styles, but please understand that anime is not a universal default style for every single character from American culture.

And not every cute character or creature from America should always be labeled (Kawaii), because kawaii has its own cultural roots, it's not a universal word for cute, nor should it ever replace the word Cute.

I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but please understand that anime is not a universal default style for anything and everything.

Why is mainstream media teaching kids to say profanity a lot?

It's not edgy and it's not cool or awesome, it's immature and sickening especially when it teaches kids to speak in vulgar languages and say inappropriate things that no kid would or should ever say.

Why do all video games and horror games almost always consist of having characters and monsters cussing and swearing?

Not everyone wants to keep hearing that stuff.

It's not funny, it's not cute, it's not edgy, and it's not cool and it doesn't make anything or anyone look or act cool, it's downright immature, sickening, draining, and it straight up violates the innocence of children both real and fictional.

Children and kids are innocent by default.

People who teach children to say inappropriate and vulgar language and words, is a reflection of the adults and how they speak, not how children speak.

Ephesians 4:29: "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
