I met Aina for an interview for a Swedish magazine in february 2010. Aina and her two daughters lived in poverty and had to struggle to survive. At that time the Latvian economy was in a deep depression. Since then the Latvian economy has recovered. But the price tag is high. Many highly educated Latvians has moved abroad for better paid jobs.
