Hi!

I've been on Tumblr for nearly two years, and not once have I shown my face. (Yes surprise surprise the Lego head isn't my actual head 😂) But I felt like now is the best time to remain confident.

As someone with PTSD and depression, sometimes my mind goes dark, and I feel trapped, I start to feel down. But then I remember to turn on the light, I brighten myself up again. I know everyone has different experiences with mental health but so long as they have the light to guide them away from their personal darkness, the easier it'll be to see their struggle and help them get by.

For me, the flashbacks are always the same negative memories, over and over.

You can't control trauma, you can't alter what's happened. Those who say; 'It happened in the past, just forget about it.' are fools for neglecting the fact that traumatic events aren't easily erasable, they stay around, and it can lead to a variety of truly horrible outcomes

Halloween is almost upon us!! 🎃

Starting tomorrow, I'm going to do a week of Halloween-related posts, to try and get back into Tumblr (I haven't posted much recently 😅)

Firstly, I hope everyone is having a good day, and are well. Secondly, people go through a lot, whether it be good, bad, ugly etc., and I think, as a community, we should be supporting each other and making sure that no one is suffering. So if anyone of my followers and fellow tumblrers need someone to talk to, i'll happily take the time to listen. Thirdly, if you agree with this, you should reblog this to let your followers know that they can turn to you if they need/want to.

It's a bit late, but Happy International Non-Binary Day!

Remember that it's your choice in how you identify yourself, and if someone tries to tell you any differently, or judges you for being who you want to be, then they aren't worth your time.
