They were walking in the hallway of the mall.

Her eyes landed on a little girl who was standing near some mannequin holding onto it, crying silently.

She walked towards that girl kneeling down to her level as she spoke softly - "Hey. Look at me"

The kid looked at her sniffing as more tears started to stream down. She held the little girl's face gently and wiped those tiny droplets of tears away as she tried to console the kid.

"Shh. Are you here alone?" She asked rubbing the back of the little girl's palm softly.

The kid shook her head before bursting out into more tears and clinging onto her.

"Mumma.." The little girl spoke between her soft little hiccups.

And her eyes immediately searched for him as she found him already looking at her from a certain distance.

"Oh.." she understood what that kid was trying to say.

"Coming" he said without her asking anything as he walked towards them.

"Buy her some food. I'll go make an announcement quickly" he said.

She nodded understanding, cradling the head of the little girl in her arms soothingly.

He smiled before walking away without any further words.

Meanwhile she consoled the little girl.

He walked back after making an announcement only to find both the girls sitting there laughing about something near the food stall.

His lips curled up without him trying as he sat across them on the same table.

"Her mom will be here in 10" he said as she grinned making him smile more.

The little girl handed her toy phone to him asking him to talk on it.

He refused shrugging but his eyes soon landed on *her* as she glared at him "Take it"

That's all it took and he folded like a chair. Two words of her command and he took the phone from the little girl's hand joining her act.

She smiled looking at both of them playing pretending to talk on their fake phone call.

Her eyes never leaving him as she watched him being a kid himself.

"Ask your brother for chocolates too"

She teased him making his gaze snap at her.

"He'll buy everything for you" she added.

The little girl's eyes lit up as she looked at him excitedly.

"Really?"

She nodded trying to hide her smile as he scoffed at her.

"Of course he will buy everything. Isn't it brother?"

His mouth fell open as he shouted. A little too loud and quickly -

"Don't you dare call me that"

Making her look at him amused.

"Huh?" She blurted out in disbelief to check whether he backs off.

"Don't call me your brother. Never ever"

His tone came sharp yet soft. Clearly defending his priorities without any hesitation.

Her eyes darted down as she smiled to herself taken back by his unsaid confession.

"Call my name. That's it"

He said following her gaze down on her lap where her fingers were fidgeting.

As he was about to enjoy his effect on her the little girl's voice cut through the thick thread of their almost confession again.

"What's your name then?" Her tiny voice came in.

"Huh?" He looked at the kid confused.

"If you don't like us calling you brother. Tell us your name"

The little girl asked blinking innocently. She chuckled as she looked at him again.

"Tell her your name" she gestured raising her eyebrows clearly enjoying the banter.

He sighed in defeat as her favourite smile of him followed with it.

A beautiful sin in its own way.

It's like memorizing every inch

From inside out.

The way it silently makes you crawl,

Without ever letting you near.

Keeping that sane distance

To keep your insanity in check.

All it takes is just one glimpse.

And suddenly,

You're on your knees

Begging for it's mercy

As you entirely surrender

With your lips curled up.

As if?

As if you are getting rewarded

For being a goo-

Those hands that I've never held,

That sweet smile I cry for,

Those pretty eyes that have me captivated,

That lil grin I fantasise seeing in real,

Those heartbeats which calm me completely,

That laughter which soothes my mind,

I crave for something that feels nearly impossible.

But I'm pretty sure it'll happen.
