the fool is literally the funniest concept as a character. you have a prophet who has to guide our main character, but he's a jester so sometimes he's just messing with him. so our main character has to figure out when he's just being messed with or if he is hearing lifesaving advice. and the fool is also in love with him.

It's always funny to me when people give their blorbos all the same "correct" far left political views which while I understand the urge to make these blorbos as progressive as possible as political commentary, there are some characters that I feel in my bones are 100% centrist, pro-ai, pro-capitalism or absolutely refuse to vote and its supported by the source material. As a narrative tool these features are still great for being political commentary, even if the character never changes.

While I like the transmasc Lift headcanons, there is something to be said for Lift who isn't comfortable in any body. Yes, her body probably doesn't change to what she wants it to be, because of some Nightwatcher-Cultivation stuff, but also because there isn't really anything for her to change into. Because even Lifelight can't change her back into her mother's little girl.
