Iris was born into the quire wealthy dreemurr family as the eldest daughter and the next to inherit her parents fortune next to her brother asriel,however she was never fond of that kind of lifestyle,yes she loved the money,but she had a passion for creativity and music,as a teenager she would often sneak out to go watch live preformances from outside a window,from afar,or even up close anything worked,all she knew is thats she wanted to be on that stage someday,so once she turned into an adult she set off to start her career abandoning her parents fortune for her brother,who she knew would have better things to do with that money,however she had no idea where to start..until she met flora,a local nightclub singer who had a similar,rocky start like her,nobody knew neither of them as more then mere performers,however they began to meet more people like them,girls with dreams to go all out and make a name for themselves,so iris and flora had an idea,an idea to create a group to make a true name that would ring a bell in everyones mind,And so,the girl group "HeartStruck" was formed(All of the members will probably be introduced in future posts)iris was naive,and quickly became attached to flora and her group,with flora being the leader and iris being the Co-leader,eventially flora and iris DID end up romantically together,they mostly released pop,over the top,GIRLY music paired with feminine outfits and singing voices however during that decade the group started to drift further and further apart due to floras controlling and manipulative personality with no signs of changing for the better,on stage flora was precieved as this sweet girl everyone loved,but when curtains closed,she was a snake,a liar,a facade no one dared to doubt,As the decade went by the groups members gradually declined until it was just flora and iris left,and eventially iris left the group and flora one night,running off to become her own name,

now to answer the question,iris sees masculinity as freedom after her time in heartstruck,iris didnt always enjoy the things flora forced her to wear,however she always wore and made herself be precieved as feminine to keep flora happy,because she always wanted flora to be happy,and when flora wasnt happy it made iris feel like she wasnt doing things right,however iris's reasoning for feeling this way could be precieved as self destructive,She only wanted to keep herself safe in that relationship and not actually communicate her feelings because she knew flora was never good with how other people feel.
