Sometimes I wonder why I am the way I am. Why I’m so emotionally weak & in constant need of attention, yet I’ll always stay true to my façade— a total opposite of what I truly feel. I know I’m not weak, nor am I useless or unintelligent. But why can’t I help but feel that way? Shame overwhelms my soul whenever I feel these negative emotions. My tears are precious. Tears are not meant to be showcased, It’s meant to be private. But why don’t I feel the relief?
