I returned from two months in New York yesterday and spent today making this dress with some gorgeous fabric I picked up from Mood - a hotspot for those designers at Project Runway!

I found this gorgeous fabric in the reminants corner. What a lucky find! The colours are vibrant and oh so summery!

After leaving school I spent most of my spare time making clothes. Some pieces were perfectly made, some were epic fails (or should I say experiments) and some were so extravagant they now live in a box, too precious to be worn. There was a satisfaction when I told people "I made this one". But why were people so impressed? Maybe I am good at something after all. So last week I went back to that fabric shop I use to frequent, found some exquisite Missoni, Armani and Zimmerman fabrics and started where I left off.
