Hi! Here’s an update:
First, I want to say thank you so much to all the people who have spread this and donated. Truly, the amount of support I’ve gotten has been shocking and humbling and amazing. Thank you all so much.
Secondly, we are still homeless. My partner, two pets, and I have been staying in a hotel and couch surfing and will continue to do so until the second week in August when we can move into a small apartment. All of our stuff is at my abusive parents house still, and we will need to start going over to their house and packing this week. It is dangerous for us to be in the house at all as my parents are unstable and furious at our very existence (sitting in the living room was one of the reasons we were kicked out in the first place) so we are considering getting movers. They’re expensive so it’s an unsure option right now. I am desperately looking for a job, but the hiring process is slow for most places right now.
For now, please please keep spreading this post and consider donating if you can. We still need to eat ourselves and feed our animals, and bills for the first of the month are coming up.
