Oliver was working the front counter for the final two hours of the day since he had to send his employee home early on account of âfood poisoningâ, though the two of them knew very well it wasnât that. But he didnât mind, the shop was never busy around this time which left him alone behind the counter, a well worn book in his hand. Lifting his head when the small bell above the door rang he smiled a small smile. âHey there. What can I help you with?â
Sutton finished securing a chain around his bike and locking it against a parking meter before heading into the bakery. The boy lit up when seeing Oliver, âWell, look who it is, my favorite baker.â He mused leaning on the counter.
