Cw: Nothing too serious, but there is a singular broken bone, so.
Crimson eyes stared at the window next to him, as the various noises of a classroom filled the confined space. The chattering of students, creaking and scraping of desk chairs against the tiled floors, and the arsenal of rustling noises from backpacks were nothing but white noise to Virekâs ears. His legs were crossed under his desk, as he leaned back slightly in his chairâ Not enough to tilt the thing back, but enough to look relaxed. The teacher still hadnât arrived yet, given the changing between classes, though no one had any idea where the instructor could have run off to. That is, until a cheerful knock came from the doorframe, quickly quieting the group of students down as they all looked in their direction.
âIâll need all of you to quiet down, we have a loaded class today!â The body language the person distributed signalled that they were excited for todayâs events, even now as they stood behind their desk.
A guest speaker. Thatâs what the instructor was so cheerful and up in arms about. Apparently the person she invited was quite the character; good with children, amazing influence, and even held a pretty respectable position within the Japanese government⌠Already Virek was displeased; He loathed the government for their ignorance, and how easy it was to cover up their own actions by simply throwing money around⌠How easy it was to make it seem like actions were never committed, that certain events never happened, that groups of people never existed. Virek hated the whole lot of them.
On and on the adult went, about the purpose of the visit, about what would be covered during the class. Apparently several classes were bringing in those of varying occupations to speak to the students about their futures⌠They were third years after all. However what Virek did not expect, nor wanted, was for that man to stroll through the door. Long blonde hair that could easily strangle a person, sickeningly lifeless eyes that made him look like a corpse, a bone chilling smile that was forever burned into the boyâs mind. Despite this, one would have to be extra observant to notice his discomfort.
Widened eyes, grinding teeth, nails digging into the palm of his hand.
âHello~! Itâs been a while since Iâve been invited to speak to a class, so Iâd like to thank you all for having me here. â His voice made Virek want to vomit. One so sweet, and could easily cover up the monstrosity behind that civil mask he wore. The man was the epitome of human insanity, and eyes trained on the student for even a split second, said boy felt the oxygen leave his lungs. He couldnât breath, his ears were ringing loud enough to drown out any noise but that bastardâs voice. The way he spoke to them as if his employees werenât torturing individuals around their age as they speak; children who will never know what the outside world is like, will never see the shining sun, children who wonât ever be able to exist in the outside world⌠They donât even know their own names.
âThe nameâs Naoya, and I sure hope that learning how your brain functions wonât be too boring for you. After all, psychology and neuroscience can be a lot more interesting than the seem~â
âA lot more interesting for the criminally insane..â The red-eyed boy thought to himself, as he did his best to refocus himself; though he couldnât help the way his eyes trailed Naoyaâs every move. His eyes may as well have slitted in order to improve focus⌠His expression near identical to a wild animal noticing the predator that had been hunting it from the shadows.
A wolf in sheepâs clothing was an understatement when it came to this man; and the more he spoke, the more people seemed to be captivated and impressed by him, the more his gaze kept drifting over to Virek as if to pin him there became too much.
A disruptive noise erupted through the classroom; whether it be from the aggressive scrape of Virekâs chair against the floorboards, or from the loud crack that came from the boy breaking his own finger, no one knows.
âMr. Sutcliffe! Disrupting class whilst our visitor is speaking is unacceptableââ She paused once the student held up his right hand, his pointer finger discoloured and obviously in a position it shouldnât be in.
âThe infirmary.â Was all he said before he exited the classroom, though not without receiving a hand on his shoulder from Naoyaâ and if it werenât for the educational environment he was currently in, he would have attacked him.
âYou should be careful, I understand that focusing can be tricky, so try to be mindful.â Virek hated him. Hated his voice, the emphasis on the word focus. He knew exactly what he was doing, and how couldnât he? He runs a facility meant to bring out the most primal reactions in children, and train them in psychological torture. The boy probably did exactly what he wanted him to, and he hated it.
Once exiting the classroom, Virek didnât go in the direction of the infirmary, instead heading towards the roof. It was always quiet up there, especially while class was in session. It was easy to hide up there, away from everyone else.
Throwing his hood over his head, the black haired boy winced as pain shot up his entire arm⌠Sure, breaking a finger may have been on the extreme side of solutions, but getting out of class wasnât his only objective⌠Otherwise he would have just faked a cold.
Once upon the roof of the school, Virek took a seat in one of the dark corners, shielding by the shadows of the surrounding structure and buildings. Knees coming up to his chest, he curled in on himself as he looked out upon the sea of city lights. They shined like fireflies, and would have been beautiful if Virek wasnât harshly reminded of his place in this world. Sure, he hadnât forgotten it, but to have the man who solidified his lack of existence before his very eyes in the one place that should have been a null zone, was like a slap in the face. He saw various cars driving down the road, the silhouettes of people walking down busy streets, move in and out of shops, work said shops⌠It was like a system; one that he just wasnât meant to be apart of.
âI bet they all forgot the whole incident by nowâŚâ The boy murmured to himself; it wasnât something he did often, aside from times where he felt truly invisible. Or perhaps because he just wanted to hear another voice⌠He was easily forgotten, and easily missed. Presence so minuscule that noticing a fly would have been easier. As much as he avoided people, as much as he tried to hide himself⌠He hated it. The knowledge that he was taking up space in a world that he wasnât meant to exist in, and knowing full well that the world will continue to spin without him.
From this angle, he could see the visual of a stray cat rummaging through the trash⌠An experience one might take pity on, but Virek instead looked on at with envy.
âIt must be nice⌠Iâd take any suffering bestowed upon me, if it meant I could exist for even a momentâŚâ If you look closely, you could see the dulling colours of sadness painted in the boyâs usually emotionless eyes; proving that he was, indeed, someone who could feel emotion, no matter the lack of expression. That view didnât exist for long though, as he obscured his face from view, feeling all too clearly the sensation of eyes boring into his back.
âSneaking up on people is idiotic; If Iâd been in a different mood I wouldâve pushed you off the ledge.â
đ i wanted an excuse to virek be more vulnerable 𫶠so while this doesnât say a whole lot in terms of another characterâs perspective, there definitely is that thought of like âoh somethingâs wrongâ SKSKSK. the person heâs talking to at the end is your character ofc, and anyone can reply to this regardless on if theyâve met or not đđ¨ so feel free đ
â Uhm.. That's my bad, yeah, I just didn't know how to tell you I was already here, I don't like to sneak up on people either. âA soft voice came from the back, at the other side of the dark corner, another individual sitting alone in this discolorful night. Surrounded by the darkness, by the increasing sensation of being just one more in the painful system of life.
It felt weird, though, having someone suddenly come near you and start talking about how they feel. It was more then disrespectful, it was invasive, it was something she herself would be mad about if someone did the same. But approaching someone with such a dark, obscure aura was just so difficult. The words simply were to affraid to touch his ears, to enter his mind and interrupt the constant cicle of hatred he was getting deeper in. If it wasn't for the subtle touch, the sixth sense of piercing eyes scanning figures, maybe she would have had to stay there, until being noticed in a worse way.
â You don't gotta be mad... I wasn't trying to be rude, honestly.. I'll go, but not before having a look at your finger. âThe blue haired offered a subtle smile, as if it would help in anything to soothe the ambient.
â Doesn't look too good, can I...? âOffering a hand was the least she could do, even if she wasn't a doctor, still wanted to try and help reduce the pain the other one was clearly in.
Turning around, Virek came face to face with the girl before him. He didnât recognise her from any of his routine classes, so either their schedules just never collided, or perhaps he just missed her⌠Hopefully it was the former, if his observational skills were beginning to dull he would be livid.
Looking up at her from his sitting position, his gaze drifted from her to his rapidly swelling finger. It was a clean break, heâd made sure of that, but that didnât stop that immobilising pain that was still shooting up his nerves⌠He may be emotionless, but he was still human. So, he lifted his hand⌠Whatâs the worse she could do, break it even more? He doubted it. Judging by her expressions, she didnât seem like that kind of person.
âWhatâll you do, straighten it?â Crude humour paired with such a flat vocal pattern wasnât exactly a good decision⌠If anything she may have took him seriously, but it isnât like he cared. Not now anyway; he was too stressed, and way too frazzled⌠Instead, he decided to inquire on why she was out here.

The strobing lights and loud music that originally filled the packed space was dulled out as a dressed up pair of individuals snuck away into one of the unoccupied rooms. Virekâs arms had wrapped themselves around the otherâs neck, as his own back hit the bed. As he looked up at the man above him, he observed the rather beautifully done makeup he had⌠Even if the character didnât ring any bells in Virekâs head, he could admire the dedication.
âLong time no seeâŚâ The human murmured. He hadnât expected to find the other at a party like thisâ Nor did he expect to be at a party like this to begin with.
Raising a hand up to the otherâs cheeks, Virekâs head tilted as scarlet eyes met mismatched ones. He would have loved to sit and talk with the other, but in this situation? Absolutely not.
âI donât think you brought me in here to play catch up, thoughâŚâ
Rolling them both over until the olderâs back hit the bed, the human straddled the otherâs hips as he rested his weight down on him. Discarding the cloak he wore to somewhere forgotten on the roomâs floor, the younger leaned down towards the other.
âGo on and tell me what youâd like me to do⌠Allow me pay you back properly for last time.â
Sure⌠it wasnât rare the occasion Mystic stumbled into one of the rooms the partyâs host had arranged in their house for these very type of situations. In fact, it was much more strange when it didnât happen. However, he couldnât have expected to land such a lucky roll as to find the problem-human heâd encountered not long ago.
âGlad to see you havenât jumped off another rooftop,â Mystic chuckled lowly, appearing incredibly comfortable to have someone resting on top of his lap. Their short scuffle made of his casual costume a mess, so he opted for finishing pushing away the hood, allowing onyx locks to spill out into the mattress. âNot dense, huh? How fortunate.â
The Founder flipped them over once more. He felt tempted to wedge himself between the otherâs legs for a moment, when the thought of sitting on their lap seemed much more appealing. He swiftly crawled right on top of him and sat in place for a moment, allowing a teasing hand to wonder from the latterâs abdomen to his chest. He processed their lack reaction and smiled subtly, tilting his head.
âIâd very much like⌠to be filled up, right now,â Mystic responded in a voice keen to that of a sigh. âWhat do you say,â he softly rocked his hips, creating friction between their groins, âhm? Iâm sure thatâs quite more than enough for you to repay me for your lunatic stunts last timeâŚâ
Virek had little to no reaction at their positions being flipped again, besides the slight raise of his eyebrows of course. His hands rested on either side of his head, with one shifted to prop his head up. The human allowed the other to rest on his hips, and even run their hands along their torso as he stared up at them.
With a near silent groan at the newfound friction, Virek tilted his head to the side.
âIs that right?â His voice was low, and may as well have been a whisper as he debated just how he would fulfil the otherâs request; though after just about a few seconds of thinking, he sat up. Moving to simply rest his arms around the others waist, as he admire them from where they rested on his lapâ that is until he flipped them around yet again, positioning the other face down as he hovered over their back.
Tanned hands traveled up the exposed skin that peaked out from under the remaining shirt his partner wore, as he pushed the fabric up more to expose his backâ Unusually warm fingertips danced along the otherâs back with featherlight touches, as he leaned down to press a singular kiss to the lower part of their spine before reaching around to undo and hike down the pants they wore.
Hands sliding over the mounds of their ass, Virek kneaded them between his hands before his face got closer to his hole, though paused before he got into what he really intended to do.
âYouâre quite demanding, though I better not hear you complainingâŚâ And right as his sentence ended, his lips met with the otherâs skin; tongue coming to lick from the otherâs perineum, to placing teasing nips and kisses around the area they likely wanted his to pay attention to most. Bites trailed down to the otherâs inner thighs, and even some on the flesh of his rear, before his tongue finally met with their entrance.
Eating someone out like this wasnât sometime Virek was lucky to do often, though that wasnât to say he was unskilled. Skilled muscle working the other open with ease, as well as slick them up enough for the next activities he had planned. As he did so, one of his hands snaked around to the otherâs front, wrapping around the head of his cock as his thumb teased the tip. His tongue traversed the otherâs insides unapologetically, making sure to hit ever nook and cranny he could reach, before stopping abruptly to shift his positions.
Raising himself, he positioned his stance to now lean back over the other, free hand coming to urge them to spread their legs wider, before two fingers probed at their entrance. Not willing to satisfy him completely just yet, his plunged them inside without warning, then stilled. Fingers filling them up, yet not moving, and warm hand engulfing his erection yet not providing any real friction. How cruel.
Leaning forward to press his lips against his partnerâs ear, Virekâs voice rumbled lowly.
âThis is it you wanted, right? To be filled up like some kind of spoiled brat? Iâm no mind reader, so if youâre unsatisfiedâŚâ Pausing, he took a moment to nibble on the otherâs lobe, as a cherry on top.
â⌠Youâll have to suck it up and ask me nicely.â
đŹ â my muse steals a cigarette  (  or lollipop  )  from your muse  &  puts it in their mouth .
đ YESYESYES. đ
Burning smoke left from Virekâs lips, as he sat himself on a random buildingâs rooftop; he was leant back on one of his hands, and had decided to get out for some air after having a long day. The sting that remained in his throat and lungs was strangely grounding, as he placed the cigarette back into his mouth.
However he wasnât able to take another drag of the substance before he felt the object be pulled from his lips by someone who was just a bit too close.
Tilting his eyes up to the stranger, Virek let his head cock to the side.
âHello..? Itâs not nice to take things without askingâŚâ
What the distracted human couldnât have guessed while enjoying his solitude was that his solitary figure had caught another creatureâsâgently tipsyâattention. Across a couple of buildings back, on a different rooftop, Mystic dusted himself off any debris and fixed his hair to make sure he looked somehow after another successful run of the day.
With everything ready, Mystic had leapt across from one building to the next, before finally landing mere feet from the curious unknown man. He felt at his best while fooling around, so that is exactly what the Founder did.
While swiftly shuffling closer to the new figure, he loomed over them from behind and picked the cigarette off their lips, bringing it to his very own. He rests up against the manâs back and rested his chin on their left shoulder, lightly swaying form left to right on his stance as he took a drag from the cylinder. It wouldâve been a rather fervent gestureâ
âIf it werenât because of the fact they didnât know each other.
âOh, âs that so?â Mystic chuckled up against the otherâs ear in a rather low and raspy voice. ââDidnât really take it, though. I borrowed it. Here, you can have it back. I honestly prefer the electronic ones.â
After taking a final sip, Mystic rested his shoulder even more on the manâs shoulder as he blew the smoke through a subtly smiling exhale. âNo human should be standing so high up, you know? What are you enjoying this view so late at night for? One wrong step and youâll take a tumble to your final⌠letâs say, five seconds.â
Whilst Virek wasnât exactly fond of receiving touch he hadnât permitted, he didnât exactly react much. If anything, he allowed himself to lean back into the person behind him. After all, if he was going to enter his space, why not take advantage of it?
ââBorrowed itâ⌠Right.â Taking the cigarette back from him, Virek place it into his mouth once again as he shifted his gaze to look in Mysticâs direction. It peaked his interest that he started off his sentence by saying âno humanâ, rather than a more familiar statement like âno oneâ or ânobodyâ.
âGuess I just like the lightsâŚâ His answer was pretty simple. He had no real reason for sitting up this high, he just felt like it, really. No one would be up here to bother himâ At least thatâs what he thought. How the hell did the other get over here in such a short time, if not coming from the same direction Virek had?
No matter, if the man did stumble, it wasnât like catching himself was impossible. His reflexes were way above average as far as humans were concerned. Plus whoâs to say that he couldnât simply trick this person into catching him?
âThough what would you do? Catch me, or let me fall?â
Call him deranged, but even Virek needed to experience adrenaline every once in a while. So, shuffling himself and turning to face the stranger, a foot went to step back off the edge, his weight going with it. There were several railings, loose pipes, and hanging wires to catch and redirect himself on should he need toâ so he would be relatively okay. What he was interested in right now though, was this personâs reflexes and reaction.
The Founder stood on his very spot, hesitant to approach the edge of the building himself. He remained cautious, however, watching the young human shuffle away towards certain death. The lack of fright or even so much as smugness to their joke of bad taste made Mystic question just what exactly was wrong up in the head of this guy.
âHey, get your ass back hereâ he called out with a slight hint of panic. He stammered out, âIf you really think Iâm gonna go after you, then youâre being stupââ
Before Mystic could finish speaking, the human had stepped up the ledge. Just as gravity took effect, the Founder felt his soul jump out of his body. He found himself kneeling at the edge of the rooftop; hands gripping the otherâs arms. The sight of the ground far below where he knelt made Mysticâs head spiral. His lower body felt somehow lighter, like he would topple over if he were to move.
He swallowed, forcing himself to roll his eyes away from the heights. Mysticâs mismatched eyes met the humanâs, which seemed to thoroughly ease down his nerves. Mystic tugged at the dark-hairedâs arms enough for him to be able to wrap his arms around the his torso. Without even so much as a grunt of struggle, the Founder swept the human back onto the safety of the rooftop.
Once they were both sufficiently far away from the ledge, Mystic snapped around. âAre you mad?! What made you think that was in any way a good idea?!â Both still sitting on the ground, Mystic scooted closer in order to be able to grab at the humanâs shoulders and shake him; making the sight evidently comical. âDo you not know how gravity works?! A broken skull is not a pretty way to go, you know?! Iâm even tipsy right now, what if I couldnât react in time to catch your ass?!â
He was pale. Much paler than usual, at least. Though there was a frown on his visage, a terrible overflow of fright could certainly be observed.
Virek was quite surprised with the manâs reflexesâ Even if he had a backup in case he wasnât caught, and had expected it, he didnât think the other would react quickly enough to catch him before he was out of reach; he had expected him to jump down in pursuit, like some kind of maniac.
As he was pulled back onto the rooftop, Virek raised his arms to adjust his glasses, and internally note the loss of his cigarette after the excursion. He would be fine for a few moments though, as the burn was still lingering in his mouth; however he didnât have time to ponder for long as the other began violently shaking him.
Expression remaining unchanged, Virek stared off into space as if he didnât even notice how he was being thrown this way and thatâ The man manhandling him reprimanding him like he was a child; almost as if he hadnât just jumped off the roof of a building.
Raising his hands, the human seized the manâs wrist in a grasp that wasnât at all tight, though mostly to catch his attention.
â⌠But you did catch me. Good jobâŚâ His words were insanely cryptic, though he really meant nothing by them. He wanted to test the otherâs reactions, and he did, as well as give himself a dose of adrenaline that he needed on occasion.
Virekâs eyes fell closed as he let out a sigh, hoping at the very least that the taller man would stop swinging him around as he didâ But he also wondered about him. Firstly, about the attire he wore; secondly, about the way he spoke, and the reflexes he had. The rose questions in the boyâs brain that he wanted, no needed, answers to.
â⌠If youâre so caught up on falling⌠Why not simply climb down? Thereâs no reason for us to remain up here, is there?â
A hand pressed to his chest, Mystic inhaled and exhaled repeatedlyâdespite not needing to breathe in the slightest, but he digressedâin order to ease down his nerves. He gave the human a once over look, fighting the urge to give the back of his head a nice sounding whack.
âWow, youâre a genius. I couldnât have thought about something better myself,â Mystic retorted with satire. Through a subtle glare, he continued, âIf you hadnât been acting so damn lunatic, I wouldnât have had to look down. Now look at me!â He was a shuddering mess. His hands were visibly shaking and the growing irk in him wasnât of help.
âWell, if youâre so smart and know what to do, theâthen do something about me,â he stammered slightly through his sentence. He folded his arms and sat back, mentally humming to distract himself from the rattling of his nerves and the flashing memories of what heâd just seen very much reflect on that of his past darkest memories.
He sat back against a stand wall of the roof, watching the human with intent; reminiscent that of a subtle glare. âThis is your fault, after all. Canât forgive you that easily for something like this. You better do something about itâŚâ
Oh dear. Who knew that this person would have been more afraid of heights than a person willing to jump off the roof of a building. Virek found it peculiar, though didnât voice that aloud. Instead, he found himself walking towards the other, until he squatted fairly close next to him.
Holding out his hands, the human gave the Founder a look, before taking the otherâs in his ownâ His hands were surprisingly cold, and Virek found that interesting⌠He was practically ice, and the boy supposed he was a perfect match, given that his own hands were abnormally warm.
Raising the both of their palms, the human moved to have the Founderâs hands cover his own eyes. It was a bit childish, butâ
ââ What you canât see canât hurt you. There.â
Cw: Nothing too serious, but there is a singular broken bone, so.

Hands resting in his pockets, and hood upon his head, Virek walked through the chilly streets of Kaminashi. He usually went for a run around this time, since the comforting breeze that usually came with the setting sun was calming; however once he finished, he quickly took note of the approaching storm clouds and decided to head home swiftly.
In only a pair of running shorts, upper-calf length socks, shoes, and hoodie, Virek walked at a fast pace near several different stores and restaurants, before finally deciding to head into a nearby coffee shop. There was no way he would make it home in time before it rained, so he decided to wait it outâ headphones in his ears as he played music at a low but hearable volume.
As he entered the building though, he saw someone familiar walking by, and that would seemingly would be caught up in the storm. So he quickly grabbed her hand, and dragged her inside with him.
âYou should be more mindful⌠Unless you wanted to get soaked, then by all means go back outsideâŚâ
Clothed back hitting a rather dull and cobweb decorated wall, Virekâs hands gripped at the otherâs cloak, as cool lips attacked his own. Having been essentially trapped against the surface, the human could only respond to the onslaught of kisses and nips that were directed at him.
âHah⌠Arenât you impatient.â The younger mumbled as he managed to pry his face away from Rukiâsâ His cloak and shirt tousled from how he was forced against the wall. Virek had been looking forward to the haunted house experience, no matter how silly or scary it may have been, but it seems the Vampire had other plans as the pair now stood just around the corner of a seemingly empty hallway.
It was a direction that none of the visitors had bothered to venture down, at least that Virek had noticed⌠But there was nothing to stop them from rounding the corner, not that the human really cared otherwise. It wouldnât have been the first time he had been in a similar position, and it was this fact that allowed him to stare the other down, seemingly without any anxiety of the position they were in.
Head tilting to the side, Virekâs eyebrows rose.
âWhat⌠Did you bring me over here just to paw at me⌠Or were you hoping I would get down and get you off?â His voice was slightly taunting, as he maintained eye contact with the other. âI hope you donât expect me to service you for free? Thatâs not really fair to me, is it?â
Despite his slight, and unexpectedly bratty attitude, Virek wasnât entirely serious. He had no intention of charging Ruki like he would anyone else⌠Or at least not in the same way, but he could debate that later.
For now, he allowed himself to slide down the wall behind him, until his knees hit the floor under him. Careful hands came up to undo the buttons of Rukiâs trousers, pulling them down just enough to expose the growing bulge in his briefs. Leaning his mouth forward, Virek mouthed at him over the fabric, before trailing his tongue upwards towards the tip just peeking over Rukiâs waistband. The Vampire was certainly more endowed than a lot of others heâd met.
Gaze moving upwards to meet the otherâs, one could certainly mistake Virek for someone innocent or easily breakable, with the kind of look he had on his face; a kind of tempting charm that many others had succumbed to in the past.
âIâll be nice and do you a small favour, since you were so kind to me this eveningâŚâ The human uttered, as he moved the otherâs underwear down just enough for his erection to spring free. Planting kisses from the tip, and on down his base, the younger gave Ruki one last look before taking him into his mouth.
The Vampire was definitely a lot to take in, more difficult than anything he was used to, but nothing impossible. He began working his mouth with skill, using his hands to stroke anything he couldnât currently fitâ It was obvious that he was experienced in being in this position in particular, though something about this instance felt a little differently to Virek; he chalked it up to the adrenaline building at the prospect of being caught, however the way his nerves tingled any time Rukiâs cock glided over his tongue said otherwise.
His movements sped up a notch, as the squelching sounds of building saliva could be just barely heard from their direction; though the Human reluctantly pulled himself away part of the way through, in order to gaze up at the eldest. A shuddered breath left his lips as he did so, his mouth feeling uncomfortably empty. As much as he would love to continue, in these situations he was nothing if not a bratâ Now even more-so that he was servicing Ruki for free.
âHah⌠It seems Iâve given you all that you can afford. Unless you intend on giving me something in return, Iâm afraid I canât continueâŚâ

đ Hihi!!! And we can consider the previous action if youâd like!! Since itâs unfinished (my mistake) I wrote as of Virek was somewhat familiar with her, but not too friendly. So they arenât complete strangers at least đŠ. đ
How did he get hereâŚ
Virek hadnât expected one brief run in on his way home from school to turn into this. He had hoped the person he was currently with would disregard his injured state, and leave him alone from there. But here he is, being dragged out of his home and out walking with her.
âMm⌠I guess it isnât so bad. Seeing the city is quite niceâŚâ The boy thought to himself as his hands rested in his jacket pockets. It felt a bit chilly as they walked, even with his own higher than average body temperature.
However when he let one of his hands fall out of the jacket pocket for a stretch, he noticed how close his proximity was to Kira; namely with how their hands brushed together. Instinctively, he took a step in the opposite direction.
âCarefulâŚYouâll crash into someone walking that close.â
Although she's not supposed to care for someone as good as a stranger. She was being persistent with this person to actually treat his wounds somehow, it was out of her usual habits. And now, she found the encounter to be a moderately good one... Finally, someone who's not annoying, someone who wouldn't be bugging all of her behaviour, someone who's similar.
Silence fills the walk as the cool air blew pass their walking form, it's nice. It actually cools her hot temper. For someone stranger, it's awkward, but is she feeling the awkwardness? Not at all.
It caught her attention that he put a distance between them. She doesn't necessarily like skin contact either. It's probably a good solution.
"Yeah, my bad. I didn't notice"
"The city lights caught my eyes that's all", staring at the LED sign boards, the light flickering actually looks soothing, "Even if I did crash on someone, I won't weight much", she added, her eyes moving to look at Virek sideway.
"By the way, your hand was warm, did you catch a fever from those wounds?"
âThe lights, hm..? I suppose they are nice..â Virek thought to himself as they walked. Truth be told, he was also quite fascinated with the outside surroundings, having been deprived of any outside contact for seemingly his entire lifeâ He could understand the need to take in everything, even if it was something as simple as flickering LEDs.
Turning his gaze to her, his eyebrows raised a bit in acknowledgement to her question.
âNo..â It wasnât a lie. He really was just abnormally warm for a human; not because of any underlying condition, or tragic accidentâ His resting body temperature was just higher. Itâs never caused a problem for him, and actually comes in handy for chilly weather.
But if they were asking questions now, Virek had one of his own.
âAre you sleep deprived or just stressed?â It was blunt, and seemingly just a random spout, though it was actually in relation to the darkened eye bags currently decorating Kiraâs under eyes⌠Virek had some of his own, though his werenât as dark, and could easily blend into his skin tone.
"Happy Halloween, or should I say... All Hallows' Eve. Oi, don't look at me with that slack-jawed expression. Not another word out of you regarding my rather," the Vampire adjusted his oddly fitting attire at the hems of two protruding crimson collars, "conventional clothes for tonight. Just what is it about this ensemble that makes you think you can gawk at me in such a way? I know full well that dressing up for a frivolous event such as Halloween, as ironic as it is, is unbecoming of one so dull. Still, I surmised we could benefit immensely from this Halloween excursion to the heart of Kaminashi's festival."
A foreboding umbrage enveloped the sepulchral town whose brick buildings loomed overhead, adorned in decorative spider webs and faux fog boasting a myriad of colors from ghastly purple to cauldron viridian as both young adults and eager children scurried about, candy bucket in hand, visiting both residential homes and the nearby establishments for their fix of confectionery. Donned from head to toe in the textbook image of a traditional Vampire, curiously enough, Ruki traipsed the roads not in search of candy but rather an enigmatic talisman that somehow found its way to the human realm.
"Well, then... Where would you like to go ? Truth told, I have my eye out for something special in particular; an item you may fancy."
âWell, arenât you old fashioned.â Virekâs voice sounded, as he approached the Vampire. To be honest, he had no intention of intending the festivalâ Though his own curiosity of all the dressing up, and âtrick-or-treatingâ as people called it, going in intrigued him⌠He unfortunately had absolutely no experience with Halloween.
The heels of his shoes clacked against the road as he stood in front of Ruki, dressed in an outfit that you would only see him in once in a blue moon, if that. Chest exposed, corset dawning his waistâ An array of fancier clothing usually seen by a citizen of the Victorian era; and to top it off, a cloak that frayed into the shape of bat wings at its bottom.
Raising his hands, Virek allowed his hands to lightly grab at Rukiâs cloak curiously, before his gaze met the otherâs.
âIâm not sure you really needed a costume⌠But you look nice, I guess.â The humanâs voice was mumbled, his words lighthearted, before he considered the Vampireâs offer.
âTruth be told, Iâve never celebrated Halloween⌠And until now, have never even heard of the holiday⌠If I had to choose, thoughââ With a head tilt, Virekâs expression was almost akin to that of a dogâs as he alternated from looking towards the festivities and Ruki.
âI guess Iâd like to go everywhere⌠We have all night, donât we..? So letâs experience everything the holiday has to offerâŚâ
"Perhaps you're right about that, Virek. My brothers tell me the same from time to time," said the Vampire nonchalantly as his eyes traveled down the intricately tied choker of his confidant's gorge down to the exposed outlines of his chest and even lower, deep in contemplation as to what led the human to verge on the edge of boldness and unashamed exposure. "As for yourself... You almost make for a convincing Vampireâin appearance only, of course. The bat motif with your cloak is a bit on the nose for my liking, but on you, it looks most charming."
When the young man's fingertips met with the hems of his collar, Ruki couldn't help but wonder what spurred this sudden proximity. Did Virek perhaps take a liking to his Halloween attire? Or was there something novel about dressing like a traditional Vampire for once? Either way, he welcomed the other's touch, curiously enough. Usually the eldest would've swatted away any stray hand in the blink of an eye, yet in this case, he looked forward to this more brazen side of the typical laconic human who always seemed imperceptive to most advances compared to others of his kind.
"You've never celebrated Halloween...?" He questioned in sheer disbelief, steel-blues gaining in size. "Not even once?"
A slight panic overtook his visage as Ruki speculated all the horrific reasons why Virek, of all knowledgeable people, wouldn't know the first thing about the much-celebrated and coveted human tradition. To maintain his calm composure, however, that trepidation soon evaporated in favor of wanting to take as many first experiences of his as if collecting the cherished shards of their shared memories.
"Well, you're in luck, then. What better way to celebrate Halloween than with a real Vampire such as myself? Honestly, I'm not one for festivities either, but even I know how to enjoy myself here. There's the corn maze, the pumpkin patch, the haunted houseâoh, I'm eager to see your reaction to that. I want to see for myself if you're always this fearless in the presence of the supernatural," a rivulet of sweat threatened to fall at the recollection of his vampirism reveal. "Come, Virek. We're going to visit the haunted house together, you and I."
âNot even once, no⌠Is that bad?â Surely there were others that also hadnât celebrated the holiday? Or was it a universal experience to take part in the festivities year after year⌠Virek pondered this, as a familiar somber feeling swirled in his chest at the knowledge of missing out on yet another common human tradition.
At Rukiâs comment of celebrating with a âreal Vampireâ though, he couldnât help but cock a brow at him, giving him a flat lookâ His own, rather odd, way of showing amusement. Especially at the nod to his own reaction to the otherâs vampirism.
âAnd what will you do if I do get scared at the haunted house⌠Will you be jealous? Or will you hope that Iâll come to you for rescue..?â Given the holiday, and the feeling of new experiences, Virek allowed himself to speak just a bit more⌠Besides, it was Ruki. He supposed the man had earned a few more words than usual, and especially a few joking jabs or two.
As the two made their way to the attraction, Virek couldnât help but allow his gaze to wander around. Towards the different stalls selling an array of treats, the children running around happily in a variety of different costume designs, even the decorations seemed to catch his eye; so much so that he seemed to forget where they were going.
It was quite a rare treat to see Virek show emotion like thisâ Especially that of pure fascination and wonder. It was a feeling he felt, just like any other, but his wide eyed, mouth agape expression was a treat. Alongside him nearly wandering off from his companion.
âEveryoneâs spirts are so high⌠This much excitement is dizzying, and feels like Iâm floating⌠Oopsââ
His thought were interrupted as he realised he was straying farther and farther from Rukiâs side, and quickly returned to his position. And as they neared their destination, his eyes wandered all around the dĂŠcor curiously, before turning to the Vampire again.
âHave you been to a haunted house before? Well⌠I guess besides the one you live in.â Another snarky remark from him tonight, as he quickly followed it up.
âLead the way⌠Iâm not exactly familiar with how these sorts of attractions works, so take good care of meâŚâ

đŹ â my muse steals a cigarette  (  or lollipop  )  from your muse  &  puts it in their mouth .
đ YESYESYES.

Virek was quite surprised when Kauze had asked to stay the night, and normally he would have declined. He hated sleeping in the same place as someone else, and felt extremely unsafeâ But if the other went as far as to ask someone like him, then he guessed it was important. Or maybe Kauze just wanted to spend time with him, which he found to be odd.
