Tomoky had to admit, welcoming a brand new day with a smile felt refreshing, like an incentive to actually complete her chores and duties, a reason to keep being, and that was fulfilling for her broken soul. It finally seemed like she had something to live for, this heartwarming sensation... For more minuscule or simple that it was, it meant the world for her.
Perhaps this was her reason to be- Tomoky didn't know it, Hell didn't either, but maybe they were meant to be eachother's light in the dark. This kind of trust that settled in between the two in just some hours wasn't normal. This must be destiny, maybe? Or just the gods playing with their favorite toys, as usual...
As he looked and her and their eyes locked, they couldn't help but share a complicity smile, she had found some gratification in making her masters satisfied before but this, the way he smiled and complimented her, this was just a whole lot different. The poor girl couldn't help blushing subtly, she didn't know why, but receiving compliments from him made her chest feel warm and fuzzy, like a deep feeling of joy.
She was standing besides him looking like a doll, however she was very interested in looking his expressions while he ate, she had always been good at cooking but she had to make sure one way or another. Fortunately his reaction was pleasant, and she could relax completely once she noticed he had liked the meal.
His question took her completely off guard though, she kept silent for a couple of seconds trying to find the right words.— Oh, well, um.. I feel very well rested, Master. —She answered sincerely, a shy smile still present on her lips. As he said that she could be honest with her emotions, she may as well be honest with her experiences and life in general.— It's been a long time since I had such a good sleep..
Tomoky didn't remember much about the instants in which she fell asleep last night, and she didn't know that it was him who applied his powers over her, so she found it interesting that he asked. No one ever asked how she felt until she met him.
As he was finishing the breakfast she was still scheduling things and planning chores on her mind, thinking on how much hours she would need to get everything ready for the guests and so on. Tomoky was a very methodic person, when she wasn't doing anything, she was thinking about the things she'd do next.
— I'm glad that you enjoyed it, Master. —She replied softly while gathering all of the used tableware in the silver tray. The blue haired realized that the King didn't touch the tea, and she understood: No more tea on the meals unless the King requested so, she always used these kind of opportunities to learn more about her Masters, it was her duty to serve and do everything as and how they liked it.— Of course, one moment please.
Needless to say, she came back after a short time with another tray holding the bottle of wine, which was already opened, and a glass of wine. She placed this in front of the King and served him a fresh glass of the beverage. Much was her surprise upon seeing that Hell himself arranged a little space for her.
— Oh... —She was stunned, but she remembered she had to be polite too, so she didn't think much about it and just sat on her assigned spot besides him, taking the cup of tea he served for her in between her hands. Her smile widened letting him see a glance of her cat-like fangs, standing out from the rest of her teeth.— T-Thank you very much, Master...
Her happiness only continued to grow bigger as she took a sip of the tea, she was delighted because she loved english tea. The whole situation was just so perfect, better than her whole life even.. It was incredible to think that he changed her whole lifestyle in only one day.
Tomoky carefully listened to what her Master had to say and she silently nodded while finishing the cup of tea he so wholeheartedly served for her, she was so thankful that she couldn't even explain it.. So she remained silent with a grin stuck on her face, and then, with a subtle hand movement to say 'goodbye' she saw how the hundreds of small creatures flew away, leaving behind yet again the almost-empty castle... Tomoky sighed lively, like trying to calm down from everything that happened, she almost couldn't believe that things were being so good for her...
Said and done, the Servant cleaned and got everything tidy in the meeting room, where the King had just had his breakfast, and the Throne Hall, where he would have his meeting. It wasn't too difficult as she had already cleaned some parts of the castle before, so she just refined details until the visits arrived. Everything had to be- and was -spotless, what would the people think if they saw anything dirty or messy? That wouldn't happen, not on her watch.
Now that everything was perfect, she did as she was told. She patiently waited for the visits on the Throne Hall. On the outside she was an emotionless doll, but on her head there were a lot of things and thoughts passing by, most of them grateful for this new life she received. But on the back of her mind she was asking herself... Dis she deserve it?
