Gilbert instinctively drew his wand at that, backing up. "Teleport magic! it was an accident, miss- I'm sorry!" More fearful of her than anything else at the moment.

He snorted at that, letting out a slightly not as loud laugh… That somehow had a more sexual tone to it. Gilbert would tease the other any way he could, he didn’t give Slytherins any mercy, especially those who mistreated the House Elves. “Gilbert Bielschmidt. If you pay any attention to the Quidditch teams you should know me. Hufflepuff House Beater for four years now.”

Lovino caught the undertone of that laugh, but quickly dismissed it.  He wasn’t about to let anyone, especially not a loudmouthed Hufflepuff, get to him.  ”Why would I pay attention to something like that?  It’s not as if you do anything useful,” he snorted, though he did recognize the name.  He actually thought the other was good at the sport, but he would ask the House Elves to cook him for dinner before he admitted it to his face.

Gilbert frowned at that, pinkish-red eyes narrowing. "Not one to toy around are you, tightass. Okay then. But if you ever need help don't go calling to me."

Giving him a surprisingly serious look now. "Don't shoot at this guy if you can avoid it." Getting out a somehow moving photo. "Strictly Ministry of Magic business, they'll take care of him."

Gilbert let out another laugh at that, assuming Human form. “You act like you’ve seen a ghost, ja?” Clearly poking fun at his own ghostlike appearance too. “But seriously loosen the fuck up, you’re such a tightass.”

Lovino pushed himself into a sitting position, glaring at the other despite his bright red face.  ”How the hell would you know!?” he snarled, “Who the fuck do you think you are, anyway?”  He finally stood, brushing off his clothing.  It only irked him further to realize how much shorter than the other he was.

Gilbert let out a surprisingly Human-sounding laughing noise at that, fluttering his wings in Lovino’s face. “Sure are fussy aren’t you? Give the House Elves some peace and shut up. They have enough work to do as is.”

Lovino let out a scream at that and stumbled back, falling on his ass and covering his head with his hands.  He didn’t actually comprehend the words the bird said—mostly because a bird had said them.  Even though he’d grown up in this world, he was constantly thrown off by things happening when he didn’t expect them.
