Lots of words! yall don’t have to read I just needed to say something!

I’ve been an nctzen for almost an entire decade of my life. I grew up with these boys, especially the dreamies as they’re around my age. Mark wasn’t necessarily my bias but he always stood out to me. I always admired his ambition, hard-work and proud faith. He truly has remained an inspiration to me throughout my teens and 20s and was a big part in who I am today. I will forever be thankful to Mark Lee. The only word I can think of is bittersweet. I’m obviously a little bummed over this but I am also so so proud of him and I can’t wait to see what he brings to the table with no restrictions and on his own time.

Nct will forever be a big part of my life even when I’m old and wrinkled I will still be humming that dumbass flute sound. What really hit me was at the start of my journey with nct I was 13 years old. Awkward, shy, freshly moved to a bigger city full of strangers from my rural Appalachian hometown where everyone knows everyone. I tried so hard to fit in with the cool Florida teenagers but I couldn’t shake this feeling that it just wasn’t me. Thanks to nct I was proud to be different, experimental, and loud. I was the girl with bright pink or green hair that learned to take lead and be outgoing when no one else would. I owe that to nct. One time a girl in my class was getting bullied by a guy for liking kpop. I saw this as a chance to show off my new confidence. I defended her, talked to her about her favorite groups. Me and that girl are going on 9 years of friendship now. A few years later i joined a group chat for nct fans. Met 2 other girls. Now the 4 of us are stuck together like glue. I owe nct that as well.

As I enter my mid 20s and I sit here, in my nice city apartment that I worked hard for with my fiancé, planning a wedding, I think about that 13 year old girl and how amazed and proud she would be to see me now. Thank you boys for the domino effect you caused in making my life to be so great. I will continue to support you throughout my life.
