You may not like it, but this is what 10 hours of digital art experience with looks like.

oshit! Incoming Jam Alert! Three streamer guys took turns writing one word for a story. Inspired by the sheer stupidity they concocted, I adapted it into rap form with a little help from Parappa the Rapper’s music. Truly, the oddest form of collaboration, if you can even call it a collaboration.

You might say I’m late to the party with a review of last year’s surprise visual novel hit...I, however, refer to it as “providing a thorough analysis.” WARNING: VERY SERIOUS REVIEW.

He’s got an ‘ead like a freakin’ orange...

Woohoo! MS Paint portraits...ROUND 2! Quite the collection of heads in this one, striking a nice balance between obscure and better known characters and persons. How many can you identify? Higher-res, individual portraits are soon to come...not that anyone cares.

Woohoo more ancient sketches from two years ago! I like me some cartoony goats, I mean ghosts; so easy to draw, and they make me feel good about myself...I think. As always, there’s some semi-original and video game related stuff here. I’ll let you figure out what’s what. (I wonder what that one ghost is smokin’ on...)

It’s everyone’s favorite greedy, garlic-eating fatman! This one seems to be the best of the batch so far.

Oh yes. The MS Paint-like derportraits are returning. Not that you were missing them or even knew that I made them.

On the right, we’ve got a few Hatty Hattington doodles. Nothin’ special.

I both like and dislike how Aqua’s body pose turned out; my main gripe with it being that she looks too masculine. Something in the face or neck just ain’t right.

I was also tempted to label this as mediocre art, but seeing as though it’s not quite mediocre, I decided against it.

Even still, my art consistently falls into the mediocrity spectrum due to me not putting in enough practice. So, there are plenty of people out there who can draw Kirby better than me with a lot less trouble too.

Sometimes when drawing, I just let my mistakes happen and roll with the punches. For instance, that semi-spiky elephant on the right stemmed from a poorly proportioned hand. (My first mistake there was not using a reference.) I thought the disgusting thumb looked like an elephant’s trunk and the rest is history.

I’ve got a couple of other “high-quality video game rips” on my Soundcloud as well, and I’d say they are a little better than this one. (I still feel like my Super Mario Galaxy 2 track is my best work.) Check ‘em out if you’re interested!
