The Devil is my power, every minute of every hour.

What scares me about Jared’s tweets with explaining how he needs to head home and skip these next two cons is the FACT that he’s asked us to write to him.

We all know that Jared has had a history of battling depression.  We don’t know if that’s what this is this time around or if this has something to do with a family member or what.

But between Jared’s past tweet/FB post asking us to tell him why/if SPN and Always Keep Fighting has done us anything good, his new twitter bio, and now these tweets… my assumption is that something has triggered the depression and it’s back.

Usually, a person battling depression only asks for help when he/she is at their lowest/breaking point.  And that is why I am so concerned for him. 

I am so thankful that Jensen, and the rest of the cast at JIB6, supported him and helped him make the decision to go back home to his family and put his health first.  As his fans, we know that his health, happiness, and well being is what comes first.  Not pleasing he fans.  I am a bit relieved to know that he’s either on his way or AT home by now with his wife and two boys and maybe other family members.  That’s what Jared needs right now.  He needs their love and support.  And in a way, he needs our love and support as well since he asked for it.  It takes such courage to be able to ask for help… but it takes profound courage and strength to ask millions of strangers (fans) for that love and support when this issue is clearly very personal to Jared.

I love that my timeline on twitter and facebook newsfeed is full of loving and supportive messages to Jared right now.  That is what he needs right now.

Sure, I am curious about what’s going on with the little information we have been given.  But only in due time (and I am NOT even expecting it) if and when Jared feels the courage to let us know what happened, maybe we will have a better understanding… for now, all we can do is continue to tweet/post messages on FB to him and give him never-ending love and support for the days/weeks to come.

After everything that man has done for us (his fans) through his Always Keep Fighting campaign, it’s our turn to return that caring gesture to him.  We all know how much Jared loves his fans and truly cares about their stories and struggles.  Now it’s our turn.  We may never know what happened to him this week or so ago, but that’s not our business.  What we can do, is NOT be judgmental or pester him about letting us in on what happened… No, we can be understanding and know that we can appreciate his privacy and just shower him with love and support through whatever struggle he is going through.
