7/17/23 — 10 years since the first post on this blog: the rambling justification of cute girls doing cute things.

for sake of textual breadth, enjoy almost an hour of reflection of k-on, this blog, and this community through the K-On voice meme, resurrected al the way from 2015! i know this is literally just a blog abojt fictional characters, but it was fun, and by the essence of k-on, i think that in itself means it’s important— to me at least

honestly this feels a bit like an end to an era. sadly, a lot of the og k-on tumblr peeps have sorta moved on but i still think the community will still have a place in their hearts because it certainly does in mine.

my major contributions to the k-on fandom ended years ago (i even left the discord ‘for good’ a while back but i ended up coming back because of this voice meme), but my love for series hasn’t. after all, it has led me to so many amazing people. momo and i even do our best to rewatch it every year after who knows how many years!

funny to think that even if seems like we're all moving further apart, we’ll still have a connection because of a dumb anime/manga/whatever about some band girls drinking tea. i think still tenshi is kinda overrated but it puts it best:

graduation isn’t the end because we’ll still be friends from now on
