Hi! I had a prompt for Time moms x Zari (no 1). So like Zari is mastermind, a genius almost and usually she's gonna over work herself (bc it's LoT and we love characters like that) so one day Sara does her thing where she stands in the middle of the waverider and goes "alright we've got a mission" and everyone shows up except zari who's busy crashing after drinking 4 Redbulls and a while trying to figure out how to make Gideon more effective. Cue protective time moms Ava & Sara while hoping the rest of the legends can behave themselves for once and figure out the problem. (This is so long I'm sorry)

-as soon as sara (+ava) realize that zari didn't show up for the team meeting (which, if it's a normal day and she has a clear head, doesn't take long at all), her and ava are immediately concerned, so they ask gideon where zari is, and are even more concerned when gideon tells them that she's either crashing in her quarters or on a couch somewhere in the lab or the rec room
-they make it through the rest of the team meeting and then send the rest of the team out to deal with whatever the mission is and hope that they can handle it while they go take care of zari bc they're both very much protective over their team
-so they find zari crashing, and they ask her what's wrong/what happened, and zari, who's kinda half asleep and also feeling like absolute shit bc of the crash, is just like, "4 redbulls and like 15 hours trying to improve gideon"
-and of course sara n ava are immediately even more concerned n they're like "zari,,, nO,,," but zari just kinda shrugs cause this is normal for her, she usually just doesn't crash this bad, so sara and ava ask her if theres anything that might help her feel better n stuff like that, and they both sit with her for a while and help her relax until she falls asleep to finally get some rest
-and okay. also. zari most definitely does this in part to escape thinking about everything and trauma from the 2042 dystopia and all the deep-seated anger and everything, but she's not gonna actually Admit to that being a reason why she does what she does and overworks herself so hard
-sara and ava can kinda guess that maybe that's a factor in why she does it, cause they both have kinda, at times, also overworked themselves to avoid Thinking, and so they can both kinda recognize what she's doing and why
-sara is a bit closer to zari than ava is, though. like she's had more time to get to know zari and bond with her and everything, so ava suggests maybe once zari feels better, sara should try talking to her abt this whole thing
-so she does, and zari isnt super open about the whole thing, but sara does get a little bit out of her, and at the end of the conversation she makes it clear to zari that her and ava are Always there if she ever needs anyone or anything
-it takes a bit of time, but maybe zari stops trying to overwork herself so much, and maybe she starts- occasionally, at first- taking sara n ava up on their offer if she needs anyone/anything like when Thinking starts to become too much, n of course sara n ava are always there, no matter what it is or what time, bc theyll always be super protective of their team- their Family
