Let’s go back to when they were kids, even when Bakugo was actively bullying deck he still looked up to him. If he was traumatized then why did he still look up to him. But maybe the trauma didn’t kick in then, well look at deku now, he still looks up to Bakugo! Also, I’ve never really seen deku thinking back to the past that frequently. I think he has forgiven Bakugo.

Bakudeku is about evolving in a realashonship.

It’s about maturity and getting over differences.

Kachan in middle school and grade school was an ABSOLUTE DICK you are 100% right on that but he has matured over the years.

If BNHA took place in those years then hell yeah bakudeku would be an anusive realashonship but guess what? IT’S NOT!

Bakudeku is rivalry ship.

There is a difference between abusive realashonship and rivalry.

Rivalry is an obsession unlike abusive which is hatred.

In abusive realashonship usally both partners hate eacother and want to not be around eacother.

Rivalry is an obsession, always wanting to one up the other, wanting to become greater, but still wanting to be around the other.

Baku go and Deku ate both pretty much obsessed with eacother and this would make a really good opportunity to bring them together.

Bakudeku is about an evolving realashonship. It’s about learning to work together and accept eacother.

It’s a work in progress not an abusive realashonship.

i don’t fucking understand bakudeku like,, at all?? bakugo literally bullied deku since childhood and nothing can reverse that. i love bakugo as a character but even after all his development in the manga, he is still in no place to ever be in a close relationship with deku, be it platonic or romantic.

even all might acknowledges that, after their fight, izuku and katsuki can finally be proper rivals. they’re finally on equal footing and can both push themselves to be the number one hero. throughout their entire lives, katsuki has always looked down on izuku and izuku has always seen katsuki as above him. yes, this dynamic changes in the manga. but katsuki still sees deku as a rival; someone who triggers his aggression and represents everything he strives to overcome. this is in no way close to friendship.

and i’m not mentioning the abuse katsuki put izuku through because people will just cite the deku vs kacchan fight and how their relationship has changed, which i agree with as a bakugo sympathizer.

We’re not forcing you to like or even support our ship. You are more than welcome to dislike and hate a ship for whatever reason you have or believe in. You are more than welcome to voice your disgust on your own blog and properly tagging it WITHOUT flooding the ship tag you dislike so much. That’s fine, that’s valid, that’s entirely acceptable.

HOWEVER, it’s NOT okay to ACCUSE and HARASS shippers. It is NOT okay to go onto another person’s PERSONAL blog, sending them hateful and nasty messages and telling them that they should feel ashamed about something that isn’t even real.

It is NOT okay to tell people to “choke on an STD-covered dick” or to go die or to invalidate abuse victims by telling them their stories are made-up lies. (I’ve seen all of these from antis and it’s disgusting.)

It is NOT okay to “oppress” shippers just because you don’t like what they like (and yes, I saw an anti use the word “oppress” over a fictional ship). It is NOT okay to make false accusations. It is NOT okay to go out of your way to make other people’s lives a living hell just because you don’t like it.

It is NOT okay to make such hateful content against a group who has done nothing but stay in their own corner. And if we do happen to invade your space for whatever reason (it’s bound to happen, many of us are multi-shippers after all), it’s not hard to block the person in question. It’s not hard to blacklist things you don’t want to see (people do a decent job of tagging).

Please understand that you’re talking to a real person behind the screen. Even if you don’t like their opinion, you are not obligated to harass them. You are not obligated to do your own sense of moral duty through what is basically cyberbullying.

If you find it thrilling to send hateful comments towards other shippers, if you think it’s rewarding and justified, if you’re getting spurred on by your friends and mutuals, if you don’t see anything wrong with any of the above, then sorry but you’re just immature and should go reflect on your actions and imagine how this would play out if you performed these crimes against a person at school.

It is never appropriate, in any circumstance, to bully and abuse other people with hateful, spiteful comments. It is never okay to belittle someone else. It is never okay to tell them how much they should feel ashamed for their beliefs. It is never okay to tell others to die over an opinion.

And if, for some reason, you have read all of this and my post still aggravates you? Then please, just do us both a favor and block me. We’re clearly not on the same page.

But remember: GOING OUT OF YOUR WAY TO HARASS AND BELITTLE AND ABUSE SOMEONE ELSE FOR THEIR PREFERENCES IS MORALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

There’s more mature ways to deal with something without resorting to aggressive tactics.

This is my one and only post to you antis. I’m tired of seeing my favorite artists and fellow fandom folks being attacked. I’m tired of seeing negativity on my favorite tags. Please, just do us all a favor and leave us alone.

Go rant to your own group of friends who actually care about your opinions. Maybe make a Discord server for all of you guys to join and vent to each other about how much you dislike us. Something therapeutic rather than resorting to disgusting threats and arguing.

Also, with all the free time that some of you have to go out of your way to harass others, maybe instead spend that time honing a craft to support your own favorite ships or characters? I’m sure people would appreciate that more than seeing drama.
