Shhhh Quiet...

Sometimes the pain feels too strong and burns too deep. There's a load too big for me to throw on those around me and too big to carry on my own. I feel it weighing me down and I feel like I'm sinking. My thoughts slowly morphing into quick sand and my mouth only on the tip gasping for air. But that last hope... The quick shallow breaths are stinging me. I am not inhaling what I think is my sweet savour but a toxic gas of thick heavy smog. It's clogging my lungs and stopping my heart.. But my brain is still live wired. Sieving through what feels like millions of thoughts and memories. I know it's trying to overcompensate for the lack of activity and energy in the rest of my person. Is help even on the way? My person is gone. Her organs are off. The thoughts won't stop.
