The Trumpets
6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.
7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood,
9 a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water—
11 the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.
12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.
13 As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!”
Now and forever. Amen!

Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.
John 21:20 & 24, NIV
Hello friends! Here are a few things I learned at midnight mass last night :
Joy
You cannot have joy without Jesus. So what does JOY mean:
J- Jesus
O- others
Y- you
Put Jesus first. Jesus always comes first . Next , help others before putting You/ yourself first. Those who are selfish tend to be more miserable and unhappy in their life than those who are selfless
Also you must not give into lust. Lust can be anything you you strongly desire: money, power fame, sexual desire etc.
A quote to end this post :
John 1:14
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth"
James 1:17
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows"
John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Merry Christmas to you all! But let’s not forget what Christmas is truly about either. Christmas is to celebrate Jesus birth and not just about opening presents 🎁 🎄✝️
Isaiah 9:6
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Colossians 3:15 , “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
Psalm 29:11 says, “The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.”
Mark 13:24-37
24“But in those days, after that suffering,
the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light,
25and the stars will be falling from heaven,
and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
26Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in clouds’ with great power and glory. 27Then he will send out the angels, and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.
28“From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near. 29So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 30Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place. 31Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
32“But about that day or hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33Beware, keep alert; for you do not know when the time will come. 34It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his slaves in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to be on the watch. 35Therefore, keep awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrow, or at dawn, 36or else he may find you asleep when he comes suddenly. 37And what I say to you I say to all: Keep awake.”
Trying something new and made a gif :) In case it’s hard to read :

1 Corinthians 1:26-31 (ESV). “For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 1:26-31 (TPT). “Brothers and sisters, consider who you were when God called you to salvation. Not many of you were wise scholars by human standards, nor were many of you in positions of power. Not many of you were considered the elite when you answered God’s call. But God chose those whom the world considers foolish to shame those who think they are wise, and God chose the puny and powerless to shame the high and mighty. He chose the lowly, the laughable in the world’s eyes—nobodies—so that he would shame the somebodies. For he chose what is regarded as insignificant in order to supersede what is regarded as prominent, so that there would be no place for prideful boasting in God’s presence. For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. And now he is our God-given wisdom, our virtue, our holiness, and our redemption. And this fulfills what is written: If anyone boasts, let him only boast in all that the Lord has done!”
Daniel 2:21 (ESV). “He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;”
Throughout the Bible, God uses people that were considered to be nobodies. Noah, Daniel, Jonah, Joseph, David, Mary, the Apostles (to name a few) were all unknown until they were chosen by God to do amazing things. And God can do the same for you. You might think you're a Nobody, but to God you're a Somebody and He can use you in ways you couldn't imagine. When God calls you, trust Him, He's got a plan for you that only He knows. Because “God has a tendency of picking up a nobody, to be somebody, in front of everybody, without consulting anybody.”
Amen! 🙏🕊️🙌

EL CAJON, Calif. (BP)--God doesn't take the majority of His workers from the ranks of the wise, mighty or noble. First Corinthian
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
David knew that his disobedience and sin had broken God’s heart, and broken his relationship with God. And as a result, his spirit and his heart were broken; broken to the point of contrition. He asked God to "Create in him a clean heart and to renew a right spirit within his soul." David’s repentance did not stem from fear of punishment. He repented for having offended God and at the rebuke of the prophet Nathan, David realized he had foolishly destroyed something precious-his fellowship with God.
Although his heart was crushed by his shame and sorrow over his sin, he knew the great magnitude of God’s mercy. Once his sins are confessed, forgiven, and purged, David begged God for His "Choicest Gifts": restoration of joy.... God’s presence and .... His Holy Spirit.
Take an honest look at your life, are you in the right standing with God? If not, confess your sin, repent and get right with Him. He is merciful to forgive you and His precious blood washes even your inmost being and makes you white as snow.
Jesus died for me! That's something that is hard to wrap your head around. But it's the truth. But why? The answer is in the Bible.
1. He loves me. "...the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
2. He died in my place. The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6).
On the cross, Jesus took the punishment I deserved for my sin. He did not deserve to die, but He willingly took my place. As the old gospel song says, “He paid a debt He did not owe; I owed a debt I could not pay.”
3. He died so that I could freely come into His presence. "...we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus” (Hebrews 10:19).
4. He died for me that I might have eternal life. “God… gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life”, (John 3:16).
And so much more... to set me free from Satan's Kingdom, to heal me, to make me His child. All these wonderful things that Jesus accomplished through His death can be yours if you have faith in Christ.
Amen! 🙏🕊️🙌
Jesus said, “You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world. Matthew 5: 13, 14
What are we all striving to become? Take a look at what Jesus wants us to be. Jesus said, you are the salt of the earth. Salt softens, preserves, adds flavour and cures. Like salt we can penetrate into the sin ridden world and be a source of healing and comfort and make a difference.
Jesus also tells us that we are the light of the world. We are to shine like stars in the universe. Our world is often dark and we are called to brighten up our spot with the light of God's truth. Live a life according to God's word, without compromising, you will be the salt and light of this dark world.
