Sometimes I look at old pictures and I think- who was that girl? That girl on the left was sad. I used to lay in bed and cry.. I wanted so much more out of my life and my weight was truly holding me back from being happy. I never imagined being where I am today. I used to make every excuse as to why I was over weight- you know the “I’m big boned” or “my body was meant to be this size” all of which is total bullshit- but at the time I totally believed it! I had no idea what my body really looked like under all those pounds- 130 to be exact! Now it’s hard for me to look I the mirror and see what the rest of the world sees. Obviously I know I’m no longer “fat” but I also don’t see myself as “thin.” Sometimes I feel like a whale- how is that even possible? Extreme weight loss is a total mind fuck. 🤷🏻♀️ I just hope you know- if you’re that girl on the left- you are brave, you are capable, you are significant- and you can accomplish anything 💕

I fell off track for a few weeks, gained almost 10 lbs but I'm back!!!
Every time I see “guilt” or “sin” associated with food I roll my eyes so hard I’m worried they’re going to get stuck.
“5 Super Bowl Snacks you Don’t Have to Feel Guilty About!” Dear God Brenda just eat the nachos. They’re special, they make you happy, and some nachos for the Super Bowl are not going to make or break anything.
By all means, make the lettuce wraps too, but do so because they’re healthy and yummy, maybe they align with your goals better. But guilt and shame and sin shouldn’t never be associated with food. It is not healthy. It should not be normalized.
Food does not have morality. Food does not change your worth as a person.

I decided to try on my wedding dress tonight just for the heck of it! I’ve been really negative about my body lately and I think I needed this. I actually told my husband the other day, “I’ve lost 60 lbs. and I look exactly the same.” Clearly that’s bullshit. Anthony has lost 75 lbs. himself and I’m so, so proud of us right now.
Yaasss! When I started keto I was 183 !! I started clean eating at 194 and I got stuck at 173-80.Once the new year started I decided to change my diet.I’m glad I did! Results speak for themselves!! I never thought I would ever be in the 160s.I don’t even remember the last time I was this small.My clothes fit comfortably, and my energy is through the roof!! I’m not tired anymore.I don’t eat out at all anymore! I make all my food at home! We used to have Whataburger,Chick-Fil-a,Taco Bell, 3-5 times a week!! We went to Reb Lobster for Valentines Day (had steak and butter!) . And Whataburger once before that(burger with no bun) So we had food out twice since I started keto! I don’t nap everyday like I used to.I get up,and I start my days early!! I eat butter,eggs,bacon,cheese,dark chocolate,heavy cream + butter in my coffee,steak, some veggies,AND I’m losing weight!! Who would’ve thought huh??!! It is really good that I don't run a food blog here! This is a terrible picture and (as you can see) I'm a messy cook! Lol! Anyways, here are the bacon and egg muffins for this week for meal prep. They are delicious and I have already devoured one!! I really don't think these make it the number of meals that they are meant to. They are too good! I also roasted some chicken in the oven, cooked sweet potatoes and made curry chicken salad(which smells just like ramen noodles ❤️)!!!

Meal Prep for Week 2
So apparently as soon as I can in from work (~3:30) I passed out and didn't wake up until past midnight. That has resulted in me meal prepping at 2 AM! It's all good though bc i have found a really cool website to help me plan. Eatthismuch.com Anyone who needs help planning and wants the macros come check it out! I can get all the info I want without giving an email address ❤️! Anyways, I'm pretty excited about food next week. I will be eating Bacon and egg muffin cups, American tuna, steak and zucchini, string cheese(my fav), plus more! I'll do better about posting pics when I'm cooking that way y'all see. :)
