“Princess.” His tender murmur of your name turned your gaze to him once again. One of his hands slid lower, thumb brushing along your bottom lip. It was the lightest feather touch you’d ever felt. He traced its outline before pressing it in the center, sending tingles with every subtle touch.

You felt him turn, leaning towards you. You were aware of every pump of your heart. Soon you were so close his lips brushed against yours.

“We can't…” It was hard to tell if you said that for his benefit or yours.

“One. Only one.”The cold metal against your skin seemed to do a heat transfer, bringing a slight shiver in your nerves. You felt your bottom lip caught between his, only the slightest bit of pressure on this chaste kiss. He pressed a bit harder in a tender caress

.You let him linger a moment longer before pulling back. He didn't leave much, if any, space between the two of you, lips still practically on top of yours.

You opened your mouth to mumble some reminders about your situation but the words died on your tongue. You couldn't deny how badly you want to kiss him again.

“One more,” he whispered, meeting you once again.It was unfair how smooth his skin was. While you dealt with blemishes and dry skin, he was always perfectly maintained. Never had to even wash his face.

He pressed against you a little bit harder, hands splayed on your back and the back of your head to stabilize you. His lips sought yours like he was dying of thirst in a desert.

It started to make your head get dizzy, a tingling sensation down your spine. The most addictive euphoria flooded from your chest to every nerve in your body.

It left you craving more.

You kissed him back, a little too hard when you felt your teeth pressed against your lips. This was not as easy as you thought it would be. But Moon didn't seem to mind, pulling you so close that your chest was flush against his.This time you were the one to remember breathing, taking in ragged breaths to try and satiate your burning lungs. He didn't stop there, however, lips gently nudging yours and planting the occasional tiny kiss.

“Moon…” Your voice was more sad than breathless, a reminder of how this couldn't happen. “You promised.”

He dropped his head, letting his forehead rest against your shoulder. There was incoherent grumbling and his fingers nestled into the fabric of your dress like he still couldn't bear to let go. “Should have just hid you from Sun. Not like he was necessary.”

The pouty words made you laugh, a patch of sunshine in your stricken heart. “You don't know the first thing about dresses. I doubt you could have helped me with half the human maintenance I need every day.”

“Could have dressed you like a boy. Who cares? Wouldn't be anyone to see.”

“You wouldn't have known how clothes for a boy work either. Besides, I like looking pretty.” You teased him, placing your hand over the back of his head.

“You always look pretty.” His grip tightened, burying his face deeper against your skin like a bashful school boy.
