A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
Darcy struggles with outright affection. He's spent his entire upbringing minimising himself and his needs to perform as the 'reliable son', and with that he learnt to keep his desires to himself. So Darcy is innately affectionate, he wants to desperately show his affections but he struggles on how to do so. He first does it through acts of service, but it never felt enough. Slowly but surely, with the guidance of Oriana, he learns how to be more physically affectionate, how to be more unrestrained in his desires and needs.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)
He doesn't have any friends, not really. So he doesn't entirely know how to make friends on a deeper level and connection. Everything he does is a bit of a performance, not entirely sincere. And that makes it very difficult to know what he would be like as a best friend.

Darcy cuddles after intimacy, it's the only time he feels comfortable, where he lets his emotional needs for physical comfort through.
He is apprehensive towards other physical affection, never really one to initiate and most of the times jerks away when other's do. There's a mental block and a part of his very unused to this.

Darcy enjoys cooking and keeping his space organised. He is often escaping into his own little world when he does these types of tasks, and the solitude gives him comfort.
He loves the idea of settling down, having children and building a life to his desires, but he has a hard time coming to terms with the 'how'. It feels like a pipe dream, something so unattainable to him that he often thinks it's never going to happen. And the sad thing is that he's accepted that his life will never be fulfilling.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
Not that he has any experience, but with his circumstances, he would only break things off if there was something seriously wrong or something that doesn't align with his mother's political agenda. Darcy would more likely just stay in the relationship unless his mother allowed for the call off of the engagement, or the other person called it off.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
Darcy knows he will never be allowed to chose his own spouse. It is up to the plans of his mother's games, but it doesn't stop him from desperately wanting commitment. He fantasises about a life full of love and a marriage based on trust and support. He fantasises about building a family with care and hope and unconditional love. But he also know that even if he found that, if it doesn't align with his mother's plans, he would never be able to against her.

Darcy is very gentle-hearted. He is sensitive even if he has learnt not to show it, and he is always aware of how others feel. It is exhausting, hence why he needs so much time on his own to process and decompress. His entire life feels like being on eggshells, and he is too gentle-hearted to face that head on.
One can see his gentleness with how he interacts with the world - he treats books with utmost care, he holds his sword with a fleeting but strong touch, he makes sure he isn't standing in the way of others, he makes sure he doesn't step on flowers when he's walking in the fields, stuff like that.
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)
Darcy does like hugs, in the right time and place. He feels awkward and apprehensive in social settings, and his guard is always on high alert, but in the confines of his bedroom, he is drawn to the physical closeness.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)
It takes a while for him to say those words, even long after he's begun to feel them and realised his feelings. He doesn't say it often, but Darcy will whisper it in the dead of the night, under the moonlight when he thinks no one can hear him, even if it is just for himself.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
Darcy does get jealous and sometimes quite a bit. In the beginning, he isn't all that jealous of Oriana's relationship with the others, but that's during the time he doesn't feel much for Oriana. When he starts craving her attention, and when he realises she's something he wants, he starts feeling jealous of the free interactions the others can have with her, the simple moments of affection, the unadulterated moments of care and love. That's what he's truly jealous of. The freedom. Of course, he just internalises this, tries to put on a smile and continue as normal, because that's all he knows.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss their partner? Where do they like to be kissed?)
Passionate, touch-starved, all encompassing. Darcy kisses like a man who's wandered the desert for years seeing an oasis. He kisses like he can't breathe.
L = Little ones (How are they around children?)
Darcy is the most free around children. There's a part of him that comes out, his inner child perhaps, that feels freer and happier around children. He loves protecting a child-like innocence, but he also wishes to teach them of a world and a future so unlike his own upbringing, fostering a positive environment with encouragement and care.
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)
Darcy wakes early, he always has. If he's alone, he does most of his training early in the morning, before anyone else has a chance to wake. But if he's waking up next to Oriana, he struggles to leave her, wants to savour the moment for as long as he can with her in his arms. He wants to talk about things, mostly books he's read, but more often than not, he will stay silent and simply caress her, watch her with longing in his eyes.
He's much more honest in the mornings, his body language, the look in his eyes, not quite steeled the way he usually is, and his emotions swim in his ruby red eyes, easy for Oriana to read.
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)
Darcy is always with a book in hand. He sits on his sofa in his quarters, a fire lit, with a stack of novels next to him on the ground. It's mostly at night he lets himself read his romance novels, his guilty pleasure.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
Darcy is incredibly slow to reveal things about himself. It takes a lot of trust built up and careful nudging to get him to open up. He doesn't ever really voice his true opinions or emotions, having learnt to keep it to himself over the years, and those habits are hard to get rid off.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)
He is probably the second most patient out of all of the guys, just behind Weylian. Though some would argue he's more patient. In reality, Darcy has just learnt that his opinions don't often matter, and his emotions are more often than not a hinderance, therefore he has subjected himself to not caring enough to be impatient. So is it really patience if he just doesn't allow himself to feel, going through the motions of others and following their whims instead?

Darcy has a very good memory. He spends much of his time observing others to make sure he doesn't step on others' toes. Some might think he's disinterested because he doesn't contribute much, but in reality he files away any small information about them for another day.
R = Remember (What is their favourite moment in their relationship?)
Darcy is sentimental, he cherishes moments, small and big, a lot. Especially after meeting and falling in love with Oriana, and building relationships with the other guys, he finds himself enjoying life.
His favourite memories are probably having breakfast with everyone. It's during a breakfast he comes to the revelation that he desperately wants to stay at the estate, during the rumbles and laughter over croissants and coffee.
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
Darcy is very protective, especially after he's come to settle into the Estate. He takes many precautions to ensure everyone stays safe in the Estate, and worries constantly when anyone from the household is on a mission.
It's one of the motivating factors to keep training his swordsmanship.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
He is a romantic at heart, and because he struggles with showing his affections, he ends up putting a lot of effort into special dates like birthdays and anniversaries and other celebrations.
He likes organising events, he's come to understand, from big ones like banquets and festivals in the town, to smaller ones like having breakfast in the centre pavilion instead of in the dining hall.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
Darcy is terrible at voicing his own opinions unless prompted. He has a very bad habit of bottling up emotions and carrying burdens on his own.
He is also terrible at navigating emotionally tense situations, how to navigate other's emotions properly because he usually just gives in to whatever the other person has requested of him.
He's terrible at standing up for himself, believing whatever negative things they say about him is true because his self esteem is very low.
He is also very quick to sacrifice himself for the rest of the others, easy to jump to that conclusion instead of being selfish.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)
Darcy is not particularly vain, though he is aware that he is praised for his looks by many. He makes an effort to dress well, because he knows image is a part of the reflection of his family, and that's important to upkeep.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without their partner?)
In most ways, yes, Darcy feels incomplete before and without the rest of the Estate. He feels like his life only really started to have colour in it after he arrived to the Estate, and he only really started to believe he was worthy of beautiful things like love and care after meeting Oriana. He doesn't know what he would do if she abandoned him, doesn't know if he could continue to survive after knowing what life has to offer.

Darcy loves going into the nearby city of Narsia. He really enjoys interacting with the common folk, listening to their stories and helping them with their troubles. He loves playing with the children who play by the fountain, or chatting to the bakers in his favourite patisserie. It's the small moments with the people who don't know anything about him, who don't have unrealistic expectations of him, that make him feel like he's a part of the community.
When he gets invited to help organise the Winter Solstice festival, his heart leaps with warmth and joy.

Darcy doesn't like bad manners and poor eating habits, finding it rude and unruly.
He also doesn't like when someone is inconsiderate, like when Calix goes off on his own without caring to inform anyone about his whereabouts or the dangers he might be facing.
He despises people who are wishy-washy and changes their opinion often based on whatever. He likes clear expectations and instructions. He has had many disagreements (more like grumbling under his breath) with others over such things.

Darcy doesn't have many sleeping habits, but he does require socks whilst he sleeps.
He sleeps on his side, curled up into himself, and always in the middle of his bed.

A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)
Darcy prefers cuddling after sex, holding on tightly as if he's afraid to let go.
With Oriana, he prefers holding her so he can look at her, arm wrapped around her waist and back. He wants to be able to stare at her, watch her face as if he's searching for something. He always feels like the other shoe will drop any second and Oriana will push him away and send him back to the Southern Region. But she never does.
