Short one this week! Figure yall are still recovering from last week. (Verin sure is) this is more of a transition slide in the grand scheme, but things are starting to move along! Please bear with us as this is the first long term project like this either of us has done so we are both learning and figuring out the pacing.

Information on the World

This AU takes place in an Alternate Runeterra where the progression of time periods is more akin to the real world, and currently the story is set in the Regency era but will continue on to modern day with the adjustments for a fantasy world. With those fantastical components, characters and regions are explored along with tension rising between fantastical and nonfantastical beings. The story starts in Piltover, Jayce and Viktor long term scientific partners at this point in time, working on tepid inventions for royalty and benefactors of the academy. It doesn’t take very long for their way of life to get completely flipped on its head.

Information on the fic

This fic was a passion project that started out as a roleplay and snowballed into a much larger production than I thought it would end up being. It’s beyond exciting to be creating a world like this with characters I love so much and doing this with Solara has been so much fun. Due to the nature of roleplays and not having a fixed perspective, we decided to set up the fic and comic as Viktor and Jayce’s POV’s respectively. We both thought it was a good way to show two different stories in one as well as have scenes and side stories specific to the character. When chapter one drops on 4/5 on Patreon and on 4/11 on Ao3 I’ll be excited to see people spotting out the differences between the comic and fic!

As of right now I am one post ahead on the patreon and that will only change if I get further ahead and decide to post even earlier access. The fic will also be posted on Patreon bare minimum one week early each time Solara updates! An upcoming planned change is the addition of an NSFW tier on Patreon as there will be nsfw panels and exclusive writing from Solara and art from me that will be posted, but due to the slow burn nature of the fic, it will be at least another few months before that tier starts. That tier will be more expensive since it’s including exclusive nsfw comic pages and exclusive writing, but it will be including everything from the early access tier as well as specific nsfw related polling.
