Cryptids as Monster High Characters pt. 2:

Mothman

I think she came out really well, especially with the 70s inspired look! Initially I was planning on giving her some circular red tinted sunglasses, but I like the more buggy look (gives Luna Mothews a little yk) also played into the eye imagery that a lot of folks use when drawing mothman. Also tried to mimic the neck fluff with how her hair kinda poofs at the ends, don’t know how well that came across though. more refs and the excerpts from The United States of Cryptids under the cut

Ok like. Imagine life without ads. You wake up, check your messages across a variety of apps, no ads. You get up and put on the tv while you prep your breakfast, no ads. Maybe you drive somewhere and switch on the radio, no ads. Maybe you drive a long distance, yet somehow, not a single billboard on your path. You pick up a newspaper or magazine to pass the time, no advertisements only articles. You turn on your game console, the home screen is just about your games, no ads to buy more. You open a streaming app, you don't pay extra for no ads, there's just no ads ever.

Think about how much of your time is spent looking at ads. "Download ublock" yeah I know, I have. But that doesn't change that the world is covered with endless advertising. Imagine never seeing that again. How much better our lives would be.

Cas should have done more celestial horror type shit when communicating with Dean, more strange dreams that are just vibes (rancid), more tv static that almost looks like a face, almost sounds like a voice, but not. Weird voices on the radio, familiar songs but the lyrics are wrong, people walking up to him and saying 'Im sorry but I just had the strangest feeling that I needed to tell you that you're in danger', more lights popping and buzzing and flickering going out when he's on the wrong path, glowing brighter when he's going where Cas wants, and Dean the whole time Dean is rolling his eyes and huffing and pulling his hair like "DUDE! STOP BEING MYSTERIOUS I NEED ANSWERS?"
