What seemed to be the end of a story finally arrived. A story that brought joy and fear and anger and sorrow and shock. No more was that story to stir those emotions within those whose lives lay upon its pages.

Yet though it is so, it is also not. For this is not the end of the story; rather, the beginning of a new chapter. The story will continue For though the Future brings so much change, the most important people in our lives will stay with us forever. So cry all you need. Feel your sorrow and fear and anger and shock, but so too you may feel joy. It was a beautiful read, wasn’t it? And who knows what new adventure lies out there in the world, and beyond the stars…?

Being a rather boisterous gem herself, Emerald was unfazed by her fellow gem’s explosive outburst. They’d vented to each other plenty of times before about their human-induced frustrations, so that she had even more to pile on wasn’t surprising either. Things were getting bad, though- she seemed like she was just about to crack. Time to reel her in a bit.

“Keep it together, Aquamarine! You’re a Beryl, for stars’ sake- a pitiful thing like one aggravating human can’t push you to your wit’s end! Steven Universe is a thorn in our side as ever, but that just means it’s time to regroup and consider a different strategy.”
