Sometimes I forget how wild the reblog ratio is on this site until I pull up my most popular post and the notes look like this

Reblogs make up just 14% of the notes here. And this is my most popular post by MILES. I think the next most popular is like... 200-something notes? The vast majority of my posts are lucky if they get 3-4 reblogs.

I know I keep harping on this, but like. Damn. Nothing is more discouraging to content creators than going into the notes of something they spent hours/days/weeks making and seeing this. Why bother posting if 86% of people are just gonna scroll by, tap the like button, and never look at it again? Cause let’s be real, likes are where posts go to die.

he’s the only one that never treats abed like he’s weird

and not only that but he often goes out of his way to make sure abed knows he isn’t weird

in that one documentary ep the dean was saying “true to fashion abed has chosen the weird thing” and troy looked upset and then he turned to abed holding the camera and smiled while giving him a thumbs up

and i just really fucking love that and i really appreciate that troy is like that

and i mean this goes both ways too in the freaky friday ep when troy needed to break up with britta but he couldn’t do it so he went to abed saying they switched bodies so abed would break up with her for him and without hesitation, no questions asked, abed just went with it and i fucking love him

i think we can all agree that after Troy left Abed spiralled and was a little more out there than he usually was, more detached

well in 6x10 the dean said ‘no offence’ and he replied ‘none possible’

the thing is when Troy left and Britta cloned abed he mentioned that he was mostly Abed only without his “wild emotionality”

Abed was more detached the last two seasons because he wasn’t really Abed, he was Clone Abed

now if you’re saying “okay but he’s not actually a clone” then um shut up /lh

in the episode “Remedial Chaos Theory” where the alternate timelines were created, the darkest timeline was the one where Troy left to go get the pizza

now these timelines were created in Abed’s mind, meaning that for Abed, without Troy, nothing is really right with the world, chaos ensues

so when Troy left, Abed had no choice but to really go all the way with the whole clone thing, to keep that up and truly detach himself from his emotions because otherwise, if he was Real Abed, he would’ve spiralled completely and fallen apart without Troy there
