A/N: was bored, was touch starved, was feeling bad for vessel. Really lazy work but I hope you enjoy :> (ps I dont even know how write British accent :[ )
Alot of the world building took inspo from @scribbledghost and her writing :>
You felt stinky. And tired.
The manor didn't really require you to do anything around, but you felt bad seeing the vessel's taking care of everything around you. So you decided to help them prepare for a ritual, problem is you choose one of the biggest so far, having a influx of new followers recently. So the work nearly doubled.
You found a hot tub somewhere around the manor at some point, which would be great right now.
After finished up the ritual, you padded your way to the hot tub room without telling any of the vessel's.
You took of your clothes, simply leaving them on the floor and dipping into the tub immediately. Your aching muscles relaxing almost upon contact, you didn't even want to move to start cleaning yet.
As you sat there in peace, you heard light footsteps enter the room. You turned to look and-
"Hello, duck." It's your dearest vessel!
You giggled a bit, folding your elbows on the edge of the tub and resting your head between them "do I know you? It's very rude to walk in on people like that."
He chuckled and started taking off the (already little) clothes he had on "guess this would be even more rude."
You made some space for him to sit next to you, but once he settled in the tub he pulled you on his lap, back against his chest.
The silence was comfortable as you adjusted to the water and the new position with vessel. Until he started peppering kisses on your neck, trying to get your attention.
You turned to face him, straddling his lap instead. "What's the matter, hm?" Your hands came up to hold his face, the mask the only thing he left on. His six eyes blinking innocently right before he quickly licks your palm
"Vessel!! Ew!" You giggled and splashed some water on his face, he retaliates with a splash of his own.
The playfulness quickly evolves into a full on splash war, he pushed you off his lap and started chasing you around the small tub.
He eventually plays dirty, diving under and grabbing you by the ankle. A quick muffled scream and you're dragged under him.
He made sure to hold a hand over your mouth and nose to avoid swallowing water, he held you still for a few moments underwater before pulling you up. "Just wanted a little kiss, is that too much to ask, sweetie?" He let go of your mouth, and pecked your lips.
"Asshole." You held his face again and kissed him again, his hand slipped around the back of your head to hold the kiss for longer.
You bit his lip trying to deepen the kiss, but he broke it off instead. "Love, I can't do that." He poked his sharp canines "not with these."
"Vessel, I told you I can handle it. You can't hurt me." His eyes averted their gaze, you had to nudge his face back towards you. " just give it a chance. Please."
You haven't been able to do much of physical affection with vessel since you got together, he's been nothing but mortified of any affection. Since the only source he's had for ages was Sleep, when she'd use him. You were lucky enough she didn't mind your relationship, seeing it "feeds" her more of his emotions.
"Please" your hand went to the straps of his mask, hoping to atleast see him. Let him be vulnerable around you, let you see him.
He led you back to the sitting step of the tub, holding you gently between his legs. He seemed hesitant for a moment before grabbing the straps and unclasp them off his face.
The mask didn't originally do much to hide his face, his six eyes still visible, his Charcoal black skin still extended past the mask. All reminders of Sleep's cruel method of marking him, even then, it brought him a sense of safety. Taking it off would mean complete vulnerability for him.
"Satisfied, my love?" His eyes searched for your reaction, as if he'd base his own off of yours.
After admiring all of him for a moment, you kissed his nose "satisfied is an understatement." And you took the opportunity of his full vulnerability to attempt another deepened kiss.
Only this, he let you in. He seemed... confused on what to do, it seems like Sleep never really left him a chance at true passion. You quickly broke it off with a giggle "you suck at this, vessel. Atleast let me show you!"
He flushed slightly at your comment, but you wouldn't let him get shy again after you just had him open up! So you quickly kissed him again.
Vessel's arms pulled you in closer, you felt something poking you in the water. You couldn't even get to focus on that with how hard he was trying to suck your face off, you almost lost your breath before you pinched his side, forcing him to let go.
"Ah! Sorry, lost myself there for a moment." He rubbed your back to comfort you, making sure you're breathing well.
"It's okay, vessel. I'm alright." You rested your forehead against his and hummed. "I'm glad you let me in. I'm so happy for you, love."
He moved some wet hair strands out of your face, gently squeezing you closer to him. He nuzzled his nose up your neck and shoulder, almost rubbing his entire face against them!
"Are you scenting me or something?" You laughed at the ticklish sensation and pushed his face back, but he showed anything but humor.
His reawakened desire felt heavy in the air, more suffocating than the steam of the tub.
"Come on, let's get you out of here before you catch a cold."
"Vessel, we're in warm water, I won't- AH!" Vessel suddenly picked you up by the waist and over his shoulder, being vulnerable really must've awakened the latent desire from years of neglect.
could not stop thinking about a reader who likes to cook to show their love, so have a few hcs about that idea and a few surrounding ideas regarding β¨ le kitchen β¨:
the recipe book (if there is one, but i think it is a must-have for a home) is treated like sacrosanct. it has its own fancy stand and everything. if reader cannot find an answer to the inevitable question of what's for the next meal, i'd like to think they just take the recipe book, locate the beloveds and ask them to find a recipe for that meal.
spice rack? no, spice cupboard. there'd be too many spices in too many neatly labelled jars to fit on a mere rack.
i picture one of those old ovens in the kitchen. y'know, the antique ones that are woodfired? it just makes more sense in my head.
when preserves are made, they %100 are put in one of those cupboards where you can see the contents. seeing the hard work after spending hours making jam/marmalade/pickles/sauces makes you feel amazing.
if foraging is an option, and reader knows how to forage safely, foraged finds would probably get used alongside regular produce. of course, someone would be keeping watch to make sure no evil comes near, but most of the time, it's perfectly fine.
culinary greens growing in/near the kitchen. need basil for pasta sauce? just pinch some directly from the pot! (but reader would thank the plant afterwards, " 'cause it worked so hard to grow!")
reader asks Sleep for a hand when they're cooking/baking. the deity would definitely appreciate being included, and an extra set of hands (or shall i say vines π) are always welcome when you're in the kitchen. so it's not an uncommon sight to see reader doing something on the side while a vine carefully stirs a pot. it's also great, because nothing gets burnt while a deity is on watch!
Sleep making cookbooks appear out of nowhere on the counter, pages open to a recipe that immediately steals reader's attention. result? a very big portion given as an offering and a very happy reader eagerly adding the recipe to the recipe book.
calling a specific vessel for help depending on the task: ii gets summoned when precise timing and steady hands are required, ivy when it starts to get a little hectic or frustrating, iii if the recipe looks more like a science experiment than food, vessel when it's something that needs a lot of focus...
wearing matching funny aprons with iii. do i need to say more?
have hugs π«π«
pass auf dich auf, ich liebe dich π

Oh, I love all of these! Especially once it's known that you show your love through cooking/baking, I can see the kitchen becoming a bit of a focal point for all the vessels. Sleep is definitely manifesting a proper recipe book, full of ideas that you've never tried and classic recipes that you make often. You'll also notice quite a bit that new recipes are added at regular intervals - especially if you try something new and end up really enjoying it.
The vessels also deeply appreciate being asked for their input on what you should make! They like being included in the things you enjoy, and that includes this.
The manor 1000% has an antique wood-fire stove. It just fits with the rest of the manor. Yes, there is electricity there, but overall, I think a proper wood stove would make the most sense.
I think the vessels would be fascinated by your skills, not just in foraging and preserving, but cooking in general. I think a lot of the time, you'll have at least one of them as an audience to whatever you're doing, or asking to help if you'll allow it (I know a lot of people have a very "do not come near me and just let me work" attitude when they're in the kitchen, which they respect as well). Sleep is more than happy to provide assistance though, whether that be grabbing something for you, holding something, or just being an extra set of limbs.
The others are also more than happy to provide assistance, mostly just glad to be of service in this scenario while you work. They may ask questions (particularly II and IV), to see why you're doing certain things, and what the purpose of them are. It's like learning a new activity to them. III, meanwhile, causes as much chaos as possible, and more than once has uttered the dreaded "What's the worst that could happen?" right before putting something in a stew that definitely was NOT supposed to go in there.
Be warned, almost anything sweet goes missing very quickly unless you tell a certain tall vessel to leave them alone. Even then, it's not uncommon to notice at least a little bit has been... relocated at some point.
YES please give me all the goofy aprons with III. You know he'd move them.
Hope everything is going well for you I had a request/ramble if that's okay.
What would the vessels do if reader, who has been converted for sometime, felt a little "homesick"/missed some of their friends or family. How would they cheer them up or handle it overall?
I swear this isn't an angst request where reader regrets converting, can't handle angst to save my life. Hope you have a great day!
I think they all understand how you're feeling to an extent, particularly Vessel. The others had at least a general idea (or, in the case of III and IV, a very specific idea) of how their conversion would play out, but Vessel had to find out the hard way that becoming a vessel meant he'd effectively be cut off from the human world for the rest of his life.
All of them experienced at least a little homesickness after conversion - even IV. There can be a lot of complicated feelings associated with such a large decision, including wondering if you made the right choice. There may even be some feelings of regret there, once it fully sinks in that you will never be able to step foot outside of the forest around the manor again.
I like to think that, as such, the vessels are fairly in-tune with how you're feeling and they encourage you to properly communicate it. Or at least, communicate it as best as you can - words can be difficult sometimes. Vessel in particular has found that vocalizing his thoughts (i.e. not just utilizing the mental connection) can help one feel at least a little better in this regard. He'll encourage you to talk to him, to tell him about what you miss. He encourages writing it down if you don't want to talk to him, or perhaps channel it into some form of art - whether that be painting, sculpture, writing, etc.
II, on the other hand, is more quiet about it. He'll take you on a walk around the forest surrounding the manor, just for a bit of a change of scenery. He's found that whenever he starts to get particularly nostalgic for the human world, it helps to extend past the manor's bounds, as time still moves on there, whereas the manor itself and its land is largely stuck in time.
III also encourages you to talk about it, more than eager to listen and essentially be a sounding board. It's one of the few times where he gets more serious and quiet - likely because out of all the vessels, he's the one who has experienced that homesickness the most. He'll commiserate with you about what you miss, offering some of his own stories as well.
IV, I think, is the one who can relate the least. He gets the idea of being homesick, of missing the human world, but he himself really doesn't care to ever go back, even if he could. But he wants to comfort you regardless, so I can see this manifesting in perhaps trying to distract you from your melancholy. Whether that be doing some sort of activity together (cooking, reading, taking a walk, etc), or just sitting and projecting some soothing thoughts to you.
seeing all my asks answered really cheered me up. i've unfortunately caught a case of the common cold (the weather is very unstable where i live, i've been getting sick much more often ππ). but at least exam season has ended with magnificent marks, so i can be happy without stressing over the next exam π€
i got this idea while i was making up something sweet: how would our dearest inhuman!vessels think of a reader whose love language is cooking?
i can imagine reader baking so many πͺ and π°, to satiate both their and iii's sweet tooth. (i myself have a huge sweet tooth, so i can relate lol)
it'd probably be lots of hearty π² for ivy. i think he would really appreciate the comfort of a nice, warm, satiating soup or stew after all he's been through.
i did have ideas for ii and vess, but my mind went blank at the worst moment π (i have the memory of a π sometimes) so have a little thought about Sleep: reader definitely leaves a portion of whatever they've made as an offering. i think there'd be a designated corner in the kitchen where they leave the plate of food along with a drink in a fancy glass. (the drink would probably be wine- that sounds like something Sleep would appreciate to me)
pass auf dich auf, ich liebe dich π
-Cherryπ
hello my dear π I know you sent this in a while ago, so I hope your cold has cleared up! I've unfortunately gotten my yearly head cold, so that's been fun. Congrats on your exam season as well!! That's amazing!
As far as how the vessels would react to your love language being cooking, I think you're spot on! We all know III has a monstrous sweet tooth, and will eat an entire bag of plain sugar if you let him (please don't let him). So any sweets will have to be sorted out beforehand to anyone who wants them - if they're just left out in the open, III will absolutely annihilate all of them.
I do love the idea of IV enjoying some hearty soups! Pretty much everything savory is his go-to, really, whether that be soups, meats, certain spices, etc. He really likes the filling types of food. I think this goes back to when he was human, and was constantly unsure of where his next meal was coming from.
As for Vessel and II, it depends! None of the vessels "need" to eat, truthfully, though they can (and often do) if they wish. I love the idea of maybe Vessel or II teaching you some ancient recipes from when they were human that they enjoyed, particularly various breads and grains. Out of the two, II himself doesn't really partake in food as much as Vessel, but he absolutely will if it's something you make for him/the vessels as a whole.
The offering for Sleep is such a cute idea! Yes, I think it would appreciate a good wine (especially if the vessels were to teach you how to make some wine out of the ancient/exotic fruits growing around the manor gardens). Sleep also doesn't need to eat, though the plate you leave will be empty when you return, as will the glass, and you can tell it approved by how light the manor feels afterwards.

i'm still very much under the weather (coughing has lessened a bit, but every other symptom hasn't changed at all despite meds), but i had a thought and just had to share it.
this morning i realised that i cannot remember the last time i looked at myself in the πͺ and thought negatively about myself. (i'm %99.999 sure it has actually been a long time, and that it is NOT my fish memory)
so i wanted to ask, what would the beloveds think of a curvaceous!reader who struggles with her shape at first, but ends up realising she is perfect as she is?
take good care, i love you π
-Cherry π
Hello my dear π I'm kind of jumping around in the requests/ideas you sent in, I hope you don't mind!
I think they all really love that you're growing more and more happy with your looks and your body. Naturally, they've loved you - all of you - from the very start, and it always saddened them whenever you'd be down on yourself for any reason. They noticed the shift slowly, how you began to think negatively about yourself less and less as time went on.
However, they don't mention it. They don't want to risk a delicate balance falling out of line, causing you to remember those negative things you'd say about yourself. But they all notice, and they're all very happy about it.
When you bring up that you can't remember the last time you spoke/thought poorly about yourself, they celebrate with you! Plenty of hugs and soft words, like Vessel quietly telling you that "now you're starting to see yourself the way we do".
Of course, all of the vessels are no strangers to praise when it comes to you. They love to compliment you under any kind of circumstance and in any scenario. It comes naturally to them, and always has.
IV in particular would feel some type of way about it, purely because he has some pretty severe self-esteem issues in certain circumstances. For example, he still tries his hardest to never look at the small patch of skin in the center of his chest that hasn't fully turned obsidian yet - the final piece of himself that's still human. So he feels some pretty intense pride when you tell him you've noticed yourself talking or thinking negatively about your body less and less over time. Perhaps he even talks to you, and asks you how you managed to achieve that.
Iβm curious how each of the vessels would react to a very VERY physically affectionate reader. I feel like it would involve many cuddle piles and reader somehow ending up in Vesselβs Cuddle Jail a little more frequently than the others after he finds this out.
I also imagine reader running up to hug each vessel whenever they see them, as well as demanding verbally or telepathically for kisses and cuddles constantly lol Maybe even Sleep will wrap the occasional vine around them or brush against them when the vessel arenβt around for whatever reason.
Sorry this is so long, I hope this finds you well and Iβm excited to see your interpretation! :)
Oh yes, Vessel adores a cuddly sweetheart. He's very physically affectionate himself, so finding someone who's just as willing to sit in Cuddle Jail as he is to BE the Cuddle Jail is perfect. He'll make sure to always give some physical affection when he can, like a quick hug or caress in the halls if he's got duties to attend to, or extended embraces when he's not busy.
II is also a very tactile lover, and having been around Vessel alone for so long before the others, he's also very accustomed to lovers who show a lot of physical affection. He's totally fine with any sort of hugs, kisses, or cuddles you wish to give him, and gives plenty of his own in return. And if you find yourself mentally asking for any of it, he's more than willing to indulge you.
III can, will, and has simply cocooned you in a tangle of elongated limbs. You want physical affection? He's got you. Maybe not quite in the way you envisioned, but it certainly leaves little room for doubt that he deeply cares for you and wants to show it in a way you feel best about. He's also just as likely to telepathically beg for those kisses and cuddles, especially if he catches you already cuddling with one of the other vessels.
IV - despite a more stoic and neutral demeanor - really does love being on the receiving end of your affection. He doesn't initiate it quite as often as the others, but he's more than happy to comply whenever you ask for it. He truly does turn into a cuddle monster if you give him the green light, it's just that he needs some time to truly believe that you want something like that from him. Once he's sure you do, he's all over it. And you.
I do love the idea of Sleep using some vines to curl around you when one of the other vessels are not available! It really is a benevolent entity (in this AU anyway lmao) who wants you to be happy, mostly because you make the vessels happy. It's more than happy to make sure you're not feeling too touch-starved until one of the vessels can come to your rescue.
Also... the sheer amount of cuddle piles. There's so many, all the time. Lots of group reading times, where you're all curled up together and one of them (usually Vessel) reads aloud to you all. Sleep helps by using some vines to hold the book up so he can read, turning pages when needed.
Things have been... busy. Lots of stuff going on at work, longer days due to a schedule change, and not a lot of luck with my job applications.
As you can all imagine, not a ton of motivation/energy is left for writing once the day is done. Most of the weekends are spent trying to relax and decompress.
That being said, I promise I've gotten your requests/asks, and I promise I'll get to them! I'm really hoping to get a couple done this weekend at least. It won't be all of them, but at least a few.
i'm sorry to hear things have been a bit awry recently. i really hope you can get to a better place soon, but i think all i can do right now is send hugs and pray to the Goddess that you'll get over this
(kisses your cheek π)
please continue to take good care and try to stay positive, even if it is difficult π«π«π«
ich liebe dich π

Thank you so much, my dear ππ i did do a lot for myself over the weekend (washed my bedding, did some laundry so I'd have fresh clothes, took a walk in the park), so I feel a bit better.

Hello my dear π
I wish I could report better, but I've just been... very busy. Good and bad. I'm trying to take care of myself, but sadly some days that looks like "get home from work and go straight to bed". Hopefully things improve within a couple weeks or so.
I hope you are well, i love you as well!! π«π«π«
i personally love them, especially those with imagery that i like. i finished a wooden puzzle of the Tree of Life and another of the Hamsa a while ago, they were very enjoyable to complete.

I think Vessel and II absolutely love puzzles lol. Any kind will do - regular ones, those 3D ones, the kind with no discernible "edge" pieces. I think they find them very fun to do, and a good way to pass the time and let their minds rest for a little while whilst still engaging themselves.
III has... little patience for puzzles unfortunately. He'll be more than happy to try and complete one with you, but after a time, he gets a little fidgety and bored, for lack of a better term. Especially if he's been looking for a certain piece/set of pieces for too long and he's starting to get frustrated lol.
IV is somewhere in the middle, I think. He enjoys them here and there, though definitely has no desire to attempt the "no edge" or 3d kind. Give him the standard kind of puzzle, thanks. But unlike Vessel and II, he can't really sit down for hours and do one from start to finish. It takes several sessions, and even then, sometimes he simply has to walk away because staring at those tiny pieces for too long makes his head hurt.
(Bonus Sleep thought: it likes to participate by grabbing puzzle pieces with its vines. Granted, it always knows exactly which piece to pick and where it goes, so it kind of takes the "fun" out of it, but it still likes to join in. Sleep just likes to be included in group activities.)
it's absolutely fine about that other ask! i get ideas at the most random times, so it's okay if you take your time π«
just had this idea, so hear me out:
imagine a reader who LOVES the π, and they had quite the number of trinkets and pictures from beaches all over the world. this thalassophilia becomes well known to the vessels almost immediately.
fast forward a bit, reader left the manor for a while, and returned with the most gorgeous shells (maybe even pretty rocks, like the unique white ones in the Marble Beach of Thassos, or the seaglass from the Glass Beach in California) and photos taken from beaches. how would our beloved inhuman!vessels react to seeing things from the sea after all this time spent in the pocket dimension?
i hope you're doing better these days. take good care, darling. β¨
ich liebe dich π

I think poor Vessel has a bit of a strange relationship with the ocean, if I'm honest. Shortly before he converted, he attempted to end his own life by walking into the ocean, so even still, it brings back some sour memories. Naturally, he won't try and do anything to temper your own love of the sea, but he prefers to not gaze too long at photos of it himself. He's more than happy to receive little gifts that you bring though, particularly interesting rocks or seaglass. He's rather fond of the latter.
II has a certain affinity for the critters that live in the ocean. He finds deep sea creatures fascinating, considering how different they are to surface-dwelling creatures. So any time you return from a trip and tell them tales, he's more than happy to identify any sort of sea animal you saw, as well as talk about others that are native to whichever area you visited.
As for III, he looooooves the shinies. Give him all the pretties. Shells, stones, marble, sea glass, anything will do. He's like a crow in that aspect, really. I think he'd also find the ocean fascinating, considering so little of it has truly been explored and documented. He finds himself musing about whether or not he'd be able to walk along the bottom of it, considering he's sure Sleep would be able to keep him alive.
I think IV would be the one vessel who misses the ocean from when he was human. I think he would have found a certain calmness in it, spending a lot of time sitting by the seaside and watching the waves roll in. He loves receiving shells as gifts, as well as you talking about your trips. Sometimes, if he concentrates long enough on your words as you describe the scenery, he can almost feel like he's back there.
Sleep notices its vessels thinking more and more about the ocean after you return from your visit. Even Vessel (very slowly) begins to warm back up to the idea of visiting the ocean, now that he's begun to associate it with you as opposed to his own pain. It does have quite the experience in creating little pocket dimensions (considering it created Arcadia long, long ago), so perhaps it can make something similar, if given enough time and worship...
how do you think the inhuman!eepies would react to a witchy!reader?
perhaps they spot reader working on their grimoire? arranging an altar for their deity? doing a tarot reading? making charms or spell jars?
i think iii would be the most excited one here. i can imagine him watching reader, fascinated, as reader goes about their witchy business. he'd be all ears when reader is explaining what the future shows or when they talk about their craft. i also think he'd be very interested in understanding how reader sees the world.
ii, ever the pragmatic, would just accept it. he'd be a bit curious, wanting to listen how reader began to practice. hours of explaining concepts of reader's craft would be a thing, and reader can expect to find ingredients before even mentioning they need them. he'd sometimes watches reader do their thing, but not always. he understands that the craft, especially any worship aspect, is deeply personal, and lets them have their solitude for β¨ magic time β¨
ivy, ivy, ivy... i think he'd take a little while to understand it. sure, he is an eldritch being, but reader's craft is most definitely different to what he's seen before. he understands the altars, the offerings, probably the wheel of the year too, but divination especially is confusing for him. "how do you predict the future from a deck of cards / coffee grounds / tea leaves / hand lines?" basically.
vessel though, i'm blank.
mind adding on to my thoughts? take good care, dearest. π€π
So, for Vessel and II, it gets just a *little* bit awkward at first, because they converted roughly right around the same time that the witch trials were going on in Europe. Granted, they're by no means prejudiced or wary of you, considering 1. they're... y'know, inhuman vessels of an ancient eldritch thing, and 2. they've kept up well enough with the times to realize the witch trials for the backwards, violent practice it was.
That being said, witchcraft nowadays is pretty different from what it was back them, so while they're fairly familiar with things like charms/spells, potions, and divination, they're relatively new to the idea of outside deity worship (considering back in their day, witches were said to worship the devil).
I think Vessel would be fairly interested in most of what you do. The idea of putting together charms or spells with intent intrigues him, and he views his own music as sort of an extension of that. Predicting the future using cards/runes/tea leaves/etc. also intrigues him, though in more of a "novelty, fun thing" kind of way. Sort of like a game, I suppose?
As far as putting together an altar for a different deity, it will likely have to be done just outside of the manor grounds. Of course, you can absolutely keep things that remind you of your deity within the manor - but anything related to actual spirit work will have to be moved outside of Sleep's immediate sphere of influence. Basically it'd be akin to walking into a christian church and trying to pray to Freyja or Aphrodite. It'd be... less than effective lol.
I think you're spot-on with the rest! II would definitely enjoy watching the finer points of your work, having lengthy discussions about how things work and where your beliefs come from. I do agree that he'd like to give you your space when you're doing deity work, though he will stay close by so he can take you back to the manor grounds when you're finished at your altar space. He's also been known to help you hide it as well, so any wandering locals don't mess with your setup.
III would definitely find it fun! He'd ask you to "tell his fortune" all the time, just because he finds it interesting. I think he'd also like participating in any sort of rituals/spells you do as well (he just likes to be included). He's also constantly bringing you interesting things he finds on his walks through the forest, whether that be plants/rocks/sticks/etc. You know. "For your little altar thing". Alternatively, he knows where you keep said altar, so it's not uncommon for him to just leave things on it for you to find later.
I agree that IV would be a bit more pragmatic. Of course, he's well-accustomed to the idea of there being more supernatural elements to the world, but as far as things like divination, he's a bit more... skeptical? Hesitant? Sure, he's heard of most other things you do in passing before, and they make sense to him - i.e. the wheel of the year serving to mark important events through the year, or certain herbal remedies helping different ailments. But he just gets a bit confused when he hears you telling III about some future event just by looking at some tea leaves. He'll get there though, just give him some time.
my physics test went great (expecting around %90), today was a little bit worse π.
i had german (pretty sure i'm getting a %96) + geography (i hate geography because the teacher just reads from the slides and doesn't really teach us- i think i might get %70-80, idk. the idea of getting lower than %80 gets me in hyperventilating mode. i've set my standards too high :( )
i had a lovely dream last night though. i was laying in a meadow of violets, stargazing. and well, it got me wondering how would the inhuman!vessels react to a reader who loves stars?
a star has always been something i associate closely with myself, and i have begun to bring more starry things into my surroundings hoping it would help bring myself in a better physical and mental state. (i think it's working β)
i didn't really intend to ramble but it is how it is, i suppose. hope you didn't mind.
have hugs π«π«π«

I never mind the rambling! I hope your other tests have gone well, and that you give yourself some grace no matter what grade/percentage you got!
That sounds like such a lovely dream, I love space/stars as well! I actually had a ton of those glow-in-the-dark stars on my wall at home before I moved out on my own. I should get more and put them up again...
As far as how the vessels would react:
I like to think that Vessel himself also has a certain affinity for the stars. He has a deep appreciation for the night in general, when the world is quiet and at rest, so also loving the stars sort of goes hand-in-hand with that. Of course, when he begins to associate you with the stars as well, this brings up a new pet name for you: "My starlight". His little point of light amongst the dark, if you will.
II will also begin to view the stars with a certain fondness when you proclaim your affection for them. I think he also associates them with Vessel after all this time, so now that he associates them with two of his loves, he holds a very soft spot for them. Naturally, he's already put in a lot of footwork learning each new discovery relating to the science behind them as well.
III will bring you little trinkets/objects relating to stars as soon as he finds out your love for them. I have the very specific image of him walking up to you, putting a little star-shaped sticker on your forehead, then walking away with absolutely no explanation. He's definitely making sure your space in the manor is decorated properly with various star-shaped things as well.
As for IV, I think I've mentioned it before, but the constellations/stars in Sleep's domain aren't the same as ours. Meaning, within the manor grounds, they look different. And IV is prone to stargazing when he can't sleep, so this leads to the two of you exploring the skies together. Sometimes he's been known to make up constellations and stories for them on the fly as well, just to have an excuse to tell you tales.
Bonus: Sleep will often give you star-related objects as well! Considering the fact that Sleep can manifest objects at will, and the fact that they don't exactly have to abide by the laws of physics (since Sleep's an ancient deity and all that), they get very interesting! Like a little sphere with various constellations that move and shift along with the real sky, or tiny star lights that emit their own glow.
