I am so sorry if my previous post came off this way to you. I wanted to point out a correlation that I noticed, I wasn’t attempting to accuse anyone of bigotry.

Everyone has different writing preferences, including me, and that’s perfectly fine. No one has to write fdom, if you prefer mdom that’s completely fine, I’m not trying to bash anyone’s preferences because of my own. I only wanted to attempt to bring to attention something that could have been rooted misogyny.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lack of male reader fics in general but that’s an issue I’ll get into another day.

Fanfics, specifically smut, are all about creativity (in more ways than one), which can produce insane levels of industrious bdsm, but at the same time it’s practically unheard of to see some of those fics breaking traditional gender norms.

Misogyny is already a huge part in fandom culture and this is just one of the many instances of it.
