Mahiru with a lesbian reader who has a crush on her

Authors Note: I still exist, surprisingly. Any of my new actual writing is on my AO3 (Ashh_Ashh) and I don’t feel like reposting them here. I do still take requests and will try to get to them eventually. I also hope anon doesn’t mind me making these headcanons, I don’t have much motivation to write a proper fanfic right now ^_^

- You cannot hide your crush from Mahiru. She knows. You don’t talk to her? Must be because you get flustered around her because you’re in love with her. You talk to her a lot? Must be because you love her so much you can’t imagine a day that’s not filled with her. You talk to her the normal amount? Must be because you’re trying to seem normal and hide how in love with her you are. She can always tell.

- But! Even though Mahiru very much would reciprocate your crush (there’s not enough romance in the prison. She craves any romance, ESPECIALLY if it includes her), she couldn’t possibly confess in the prisons conditions! I mean, she at least has to get some flowers and wait for the perfect season (even though it changes nothing since you guys are in prison) and prepare the most romantic speech and- yeah no if you want to become her partner then you’re best off confessing yourself.

- If she does end up confessing herself, though, then it’d be the most perfectly romantic thing ever (well, excluding the fact that the location she confessed in is a prison. There’s more romantic areas to confess in…), with a lengthy speech about how much she loves you and her giving you your favorite flowers (if you don’t like flowers, then uhhhh. She’d probably try to give you whatever your favorite thing is I don’t know) and it’s very much Mahiru.

- When she realizes you have a crush on her, she’ll definitely try to spend more time with you. She’d gift you magazines (that have lots of romantic content, of course) and ask you about if you liked them (and use that information to find magazines she think you’d enjoy), she’d also write you poems I think! Very romantic poems.

- If you end up confessing to her, she’d be overjoyed, accepting without hesitation and making it very clear you two are partners now to anyone she might talk to afterwards! The other prisoners probably get sick of her gushing about you in every conversation but she doesn’t care.

- For trial 2 Mahiru… she’d want to spend all of her time with you, since it makes her feel better to be surrounded with romance, you know? She’d also probably confess to you, even if it’s not the perfect time, because she doesn’t want to die alone. She still gifts you things, and I see her writing many more poems because she has less to do.

- If you get hurt from your clumsiness, she is NOT letting you NEAR Shidou. That fucker will try to ””””help”””” you, by INTERFERING WITH THE GODS PLANS!!!!!!!!

- Yeah no. You’ll have to walk it off (preferably without tripping) with her around.

Summary:

Amane could never sleep right in MILGRAM.

Knowing she had did something to deserve this place kept her up at night.

If this was a test assigned onto her by the gods, she was horribly failing it. (Copied from my AO3 post of it)

Sleeping was hard when you knew you did something wrong.

Especially for Amane.

Every night, she asks the gods what she did wrong to deserve this fate. They never answer, no matter how much she asks, no matter how consistently she asks. But she will not give up, no, eventually they will hear her pleas (she hoped they’d eventually hear her, at least)!

All she needed was just one more chance to prove whatever she did to deserve being here was a fluke; one more chance to prove no test is needed to show her unwavering faith.

Even if it was the last chance she got, that was all she needed.

Writers note: Back at it again with writing I wrote at 1am on my Kindle that I cleaned up in the morning ‼️

Possible Warnings: I accidently implied a bit of a more yandere tone, but it’s not that mentioned and can br easily ignored. Reader is Rover (this is important to like two parts), but you can imagine being called whatever name you like since I didn’t actually mention readers name.

- He finds you interesting at first: You being an outcast yet so important is quite interesting, yes?

- He believes there is no reason for you to reject the offer to join the Fractsidus, you're an outcast anyways, why not embrace it?

- Your resonence ability is being able to emit mercury, that can only harm those around you and doesnt harm you at all. He finds quite a bit of use in this... (stay far away from this man. The way he admires your mercury is NOT normal.)

Authors note: Made it a oneshot since that seems to fit the request most. Also this might be weirdly written because I have never went on a date before… and I know the request was for a fem!reader but I just never found myself using any gendered terms to describe the reader… sorry!!

Honestly, this whole “date” thing was pretty new to Rover. I mean, she’d went out with a few other people before, but never with romantic intent… so when you had asked her out on a date, she was both surprised and unsure how to respond. But there’s always a first time for everything, yes?

You had taken her out to Panhua’s restaurant, deciding it would be a good date.

“… is the food nice?” Rover asked, trying to start a conversation with you. That’s what people do on dates, right?

“It is nice!” You answered.

“Mine is as well.” Rover replied.

Neither of you two were really sure how to continue the conversation, but Rover just tried to ask another question, hoping it would actually lead somewhere.
