For example, should you compliment a woman's ass? The answer isn't 100% yes or 100% no. If you're having a conversation with her and she brings up which celebrities have a nice ass, and you tell her that hers is better, that's most likely good (if it's actually true), because she already brought that up as a conversation topic. If you tell her she has a nice ass in a professional setting, that's most likely harassment, because it doesn't help to have a nice ass at that time. If you compliment her ass in response to her sharing a story about a stranger yelling "nice ass" at her, then you're likely adding to the trauma that the harasser caused.

I think this because, prior to Kamabakka, the longest period he spent on actual land seems to be starving on a rock with Zeff.

I totally buy that Germa likely had some sort of stabilizing tech on their snails, definitely in medical and engineering areas. You need a measure of stability in your evil laboratory.

But any ocean-going vessel does need to actually move with the sea. Otherwise, it won't move at all. So, I think other areas were less stabilized.

Thus, Sanji went from weird snails that swim the seas, to cruise ship, to trauma rock, to a restaurant ship before joining the Straw Hats. Moving on a ship likely feels more natural to him than on land.

I think he has trained himself to adjust pretty quickly, as a necessity, and also because the Mosshead definitely would call it out. But even still, his first few steps on any island are not as graceful as his usual stride.

I was talking to Salasana (who wrote an epic Crocodad fic~) about this on bluesky, who suggested that Crocodile would probably abandon Alabasta and "disband" Baroque Works (to later reform it into Cross Guild.) But since he never actually got defeated by Luffy, he doesn't have a lot of faith in his son's abilities to not die like an idiot. So he tries to get him to go back home with no success. The dialogue in this is by Salasana too ;3 I do think he'd try to have a relationship with Luffy, it's just off to a rocky and weird start *lol*
