Sorry here the clarification from my last question😅
There was an older question from older than despair au where the answer was this :
which Imu would demand to say
Dragon what does prove whether they are together or not. Is it living together? Eating together Sleeping together? They do all of those things Beloved.
Including cute pet names.
Soo the question for it is this ?
Does Imu know that it Include Imu's favorite word Consent from Dragon in generally in this Relationship? Or what kind of Relationship Imu thinks it is?
I'll draw a comparison here with Luffy.
Time and time again, we see Luffy not taking no for an answer when it comes recruiting crewmates and saving crewmates as well.
Of course, there's the understanding that Luffy has that these individuals really do want to come/return/so on, and it's his stubbornness that builds the bridge that they can use to join the Strawhats.
Imu operates under a similar insight that Dragon wants to stop fighting, stop having to deal with all of what he struggles with as the leader of a revolution.
And Imu is not wrong about that, because Dragon would rather that he didn't have to leave the Marines in the first place to do what he does, that Justice was real in the Marines and not a buzzword for whatever evil shit you want to do to the weak. Dragon doesn't want to fight the world.
In Imu's POV, what Imu is doing with Dragon is no different than Luffy refusing to eat anything not made by Sanji in the Whole Cake Island Arc. Or chasing after Robin after she apparently framed the crew for an assassination.
Refusing to give on Dragon when Dragon's given up on himself.
It's the same core of selfishness, but Luffy does good while Imu does evil. Actions are different.
Also, if we're drawing Luffy and Joyboy comparisons as well, I bet Imu dealt with an extremely extroverted Joyboy that dragged Imu along in his wake and boundaries with what you do with people you care about are a bit blurry from those interactions as well.
