some days  I wish I hadn’t planted this forest. I am getting lost in the foliage, tripping over a mapwork of roots as often as I step- it is a hassle to navigate myself- but growth is not a mistake, it is never a waste of time.

If only things were so easy that a simple photograph could remind me of your voice or the smooth sound of your laugh, instead it only captures the colour of your eyes, portrays the never changing past and reminds me how time flies, I wish the pictures I took of you could savour how you think but they could never show the truth so I will capture you with ink.

Sometimes words come out of me and I don’t know where they come from or why. They’re like falling stars tumbling through the universe; bright, burning things that can’t be stopped.
