DarkNights CityLights gives update on upcoming E.P. & announces next E.P.

DarkNights CityLights sat down with us this week and gave us an update on the status of his upcoming E.P. “The City Beautiful”:

L&P:So how is the new E.P. coming anyways? We heard you’ve been hitting a few snags.

DNCL:Yeah, but nothing I can’t handle. It’s just been so hectic lately and I’ve just been feeling  a little overwhelmed but I’m piecing it back together. As for the status of “The City Beautiful”; it is nearing completion. I am currently recording vocals on one of the last songs and then I just have one more to record and it’ll be ready for the final stages of the process.

L&P:We also heard you were already making plans for your third E.P. as well, is that true?

DNCL:It sure is. I guess the mindset comes from my upbringing…I just always feel like I should have something underway. It’s great if someone hears your current work is like “I dig it, it’s good” but what if they turn around suddenly and shoot out “but what else can you do?”. In my method I’m always prepared because I can tell them to wait and see, because my music is almost always evolving and I love to see just how far I can push the bar.

L&P:Well either way, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us and we can’t wait to hear your new music.

DNCL:Right on man. Thanks for having me.
