you can't tame me.

                it was most definitely a romantic getaway, suhan thinks, but doesn’t say. “so you and you’re friend didn’t spend any good, quality gay time together?” she asks with a playfully quirked brow, arms remaining crossed over her chest. the girl eyes her roommate suspiciously, not entirely sure if she believes the boy actually got her something ( but he better fucking have ). “fine,” she relents after another moment, sigh pursing through her lips as she moves back into her room briefly to tug on a pair of shorts and throw her hair up into a ponytail. “tell me all about your exciting adventures while i suffer through cleaning, i SUPPOSE,” she responds dryly, emerging from her room and heading straight towards the kitchen to grab a fresh trash bag. “what’d you guys get up to?” hani genuinely was interested in hearing about it, of course. especially if it meant getting a bit of intel on what went down with the guy her best friend was BASICALLY dating. and if all else failed, at least she would get some good kace and taesuk gossip.

                hani wasn’t annoyed, per se. sure--- her two closest friends had went on some fancy vacation without her ( curse you, taesuk ), and her proclaimed best friend had failed to inform her that he arrived last night. but she wasn’t annoyed, of course. hani! get your ass out her. ---okay maybe she was a l i t t l e annoyed. with a sigh, the dj pushes herself out from under her ruffled sheets, deciding not to bother with pants before heading towards her bedroom door ( the benefits of having chill roommates ). she leans up against the frame as soon as she opens the door, crossing her arms across her chest and leveling her best friend with a narrowed gaze. “if you didn’t bring me a souvenir from your romantic getaway, i don’t wanna hear it.”

                hani simply shrugs her shoulders in response. “it’s really not that much, so i wouldn’t mind either way,” she assures the girl. it was kind of a reflex to treat any girl whenever the opportunity arose, which is why she didn’t hesitate to suggest it. “but it’s all up to you. i’ve got a bit of cash to spare at the moment, so it’s no biggie.” and it wasn’t a brag, necessarily ( because she did ), more so just a statement in case the other girl was somehow worried about hani blowing too much cash on chips.

“ if you let him TOUCH ya, touch ya, touch ya, touch ya, t o u c h ya, touch ya. the way I used to, used to, USED to, used to, used to, USED to. did you take him to the pier in santa monica? forget to bring a jacket, wrap up in him 'cause you wanted to? i'm just curious, is it SERIOUS? i'm just curious, is it serious? ” ( taesuk’s video ). 

                hani snorts out that, clearly amused by the memory of that specific night. she usually prided herself on being an excellent wingman on most occasions, but when jaehee was eyeing girls more than guys on certain nights, she could never quite help when they gravitated towards HER, instead. “what can i say?” she lifts her shoulders up in a not-so-modest shrug. “i’m pretty irresistible.” the girl emphasizes this by flipping her hair off her shoulders, offering the other a charming smile in the process.                 she hums idly at the question. “eh--- not gonna lie, i’ve mostly been busy with work lately, so---” fingers thread through her red locks as she answers, another shrug lifting up at her shoulders. “it’s been pretty uninteresting,” she pauses in order to sip at her coffee again. “i did hookup with someone in my dj booth in the middle of my set not too long ago, though,” she chuckles, a mischievous grin pulling at her lips.

                hani didn’t think too much into the offer ; just figured it was something she could simply do as a thank you for helping a stranger haul her various snacks over to the checkout counter. “of course it is,” the girl assures with a grin, not seeing the issue in it at all. “you sure you don’t want anything else?” she quirks an eyebrow in question, wanting to double check before they made it to the front. “like i said--- anything you want, it’s my treat.” she offers the girl her most charming grin, elbow nudging the side of her arm gently. “personally, i would suggest the honey butter chips--- they’re a particular fave of mine,” she teases lightly, smile continuing to curve up at her lips.

                hani shrugs, a look of false modesty crossing her expression as she casually flips her red locks off her shoulder. “it comes naturally mostly,” she grins playfully, bumping her shoulder against his as they walked. “i will never disagree with kicking the shit out of old men. if anything, i strongly encourage it,” she snorts, not even attempting to hide her disdain for older men, in the process. “honestly i’ve been eating junk all day, so i’m not even that hungry,” she shrugs --- despite knowing she’d probably easily down the meal when it came down to it. “the only reason i’m getting anything, is because eunjae called to make sure i had eaten an ACTUAL meal today and not just chips,” she rolls her eyes, but it’s more fond than anything else. “so---” she pauses, sending him a considering look for a moment. “two bites, then,” the girl decides with a definitive nod. “but are you bored off your ass now that baseball season is over or what?” she questions with a quirk of her eyebrow, stepping ahead to open the door to her apartment complex for the two of them --- waving the older boy in with a small flourish. no one could EVER accuse im suhan of not being the perfect gentleman. 

                though hani never found herself easily befriending others in most cases, there was something about minkyo’s presence that made her want to linger a bit longer -- though she supposed that could be solely blamed on her genuine attraction to the girl. a soft smile traces over her lips following the touch, momentarily mesmerized by the gaze she was receiving in return. if hani had just a b i t less class than she did currently ( and if she didn’t have work later ), she would’ve suggested going back to her apartment for a repeat of their previous night together. coffee seemed like a pretty safe alternative, however, and she supposed it couldn’t hurt to get to know the girl a LITTLE more. and with that, she does as the other says without pause --- starting to head in the direction of the small coffee shop nearby, letting her shoulder brush up against the other girl’s as they walked. “so i don’t recall making much idle chat last time we were together---” she starts playfully, grin starting to pull up at her lips. “--but tell me about yourself.” maybe it was best to save that sort of conversation for coffee, but hani found herself a bit eager to get to know the smaller girl, anyways.

                “you as well,” hani quirks a small grin towards the girl, letting her eyes avert briefly in order to do one final scan of the surrounding shelves. “but please, i insist!” the dj asserts with a definitive nod. it’s not as if a kind gesture was UNHEARD of from hani. the girl knew her manners --- though she also knew that she likely wouldn’t have extended the same offer to a boy, had he been the one to lend a hand ( im suhan never claimed to be completely unbiased ). “seriously. anything you want. i’ve got you.”

                hani lets a snort sound in reply, knowing the younger boy had somewhat of a point. there wasn’t a huge crowd that morning, given the hour, and despite the oddity of blasting a club mix in the middle of a university cafe, it’s not as if hani particularly CARED, in the long run. “i guess you’re right,” she relents with a small shrug, already reaching for her backpack in order to lug her laptop back out of its confines.                  a small eye roll appears as she sets up her computer, aiming an unimpressed look over at her friend. “believe it or not, i don’t need my music to score hot chicks,” she counters, a grin spreading across her lips a moment later. “they flock to me naturally. it’s a gift.” she proceeds to shrug, a swift flip of her red ponytail finalizing her point.

                hani’s shoulders lift up in a shrug at the sarcastic comment, a smirk pulling at her lips. “i know. i’m a riot,” she replies dryly, amusement tinging the curve of her lips. “but i’m sure he did. old men usually have it coming,” she agrees with a slow nod of her head, fingers curling into the warmth of her coat pockets. there weren’t many people that hani would ‘clean’ her apartment for ( outside of cute girls, obviously ), so in the girl’s humble opinion, he should definitely feel BLESSED, if anything, by the offer itself. “nah, nobody was home when i left, so you’re safe,” the red head assures him. though she wasn’t even sure WHY he wouldn’t want eunjae to see him like this. her grip tightens briefly on the bag of food in her hand as she lifts it up a bit. “i’ll even be extra nice and share with you, so come on.” her head quirks towards the direction of her apartment at that, body already turning that way. “try not to bleed on the carpet, though.”

                the bit of static that frizzed up the top of minkyo’s hair only managed to make her CHEST tighten a bit. without pause, she lets her own soft fingers reach over to push down a few of the stays that had managed to stick up in the process of minkyo raking her digits through her hair. with one last lingering touch, she pulls back with a soft grin. “i guess we can both consider ourselves lucky, then,” she counters, a certain sort of gentleness resting in her tone. “but there’s a coffee place nearby i sometimes go to if you wanna head there.” hani’s head tilts slightly towards the direction, hands returning to her pockets in an attempt to shield them from the wind that was starting to pick up.

                hani finally lifts her head up from her collapsed position at the comment, a playful eye roll appearing at the words. “why else would i grace a male with my presence, if not for the free coffee?” she replies with a small, soft smirk -- the words holding none of the coldness and sarcasm that they initially suggested. she genuinely DID enjoy the younger boy’s presence, and was ( admittedly ) a bit weak for the cute act he often put on for her -- and she was sure that was more than obvious in the softness that was often brought out in her whenever he was around. “thank you, though,” she grins widely at the mug being slid her way, perking up a bit as she takes a sip of the warm concoction. “i’m sure i can find a way to live with myself, regardless,” she snorted over the top of the cup, grin peaking up over the rim.                 upon sitting down the drink, she answers the comment with a shrug. “i could, i guess? it’s not entirely done, though, and it’s not exactly ‘coffee shop music’ or anything,” she reminds with an amused grin. “or do people usually play club remixes in university cafes and i’m just out of the loop?”
