[hello! this is a suguru getou rp/ask blog. very chill, happy to just answer questions and interact with people. my personal blog is @seraphimhoney, i'm 21, i'm new to roleplay blogs but not new to roleplay (7 years experience hehe) so bare with me, here's some deets and rules:

i was thinking about this for a while, but when you just started as a cult leader, during first presentation you told your girls to watch closely, and than you killed a person on stage. Don’t you think it was a bit too brutal for girl to see? Were they okay after that?

suguru shrugs, sighing.

"they aren't exactly normal girls, neither for the way they were raised in the village nor the fact that they're sorceresses. blood and gore is a daily sight. they were fine."

Have you kissed satoru???

suguru flashes a foxy smile, pressing a long finger to his lips.

"ah, but there's a saying about kissing and telling, isn't there?" he purrs.

"good to know, good to know." suguru hums, smirking slightly. "i'll be sure to push the limits on that, of course."

"mm... often enough. he plagues my mind sometimes, like an annoying little attention-leech."

suguru raises a brow.

"our time comes for us all, there is no need to try and rush it." he replies quietly. "find some rest, whether that be in other people or in yourself."

suguru blinks for a moment, squinting at the image a bit before his eyes widen.

"when did he take that? show off." he huffs.

suguru looks you over, brow raised. for a moment he wonders how you would know of curses if you can't see or exorcise them, but he doesn't think much of it. a curse collecting monkey is a curse collecting monkey.

"hold still."

he lifts a hand for a moment, still, staring toward you but not quite at you. a few moments later, a swirling dark orb rests in his hand. he hides it in his sleeves.

"you may go."

...woahh who said that? 🤨

suguru looks mildly unimpressed, glancing around the room.

"... not sure. must've been the wind." he replies dryly.

suguru laughs airily, flashing you a sweet smile.

"my, how emotional. give me anything, you say? so sweet. would you like the organization's banking details for donations?" he tilts his head.

"as long as monkeys are living, they unknowingly create curses. as long as there are curses, sorcerers are the ones who have to risk life and limb to exorcise them. that is the most basic cycle of this current society."

Do you think, like maybe in an alternate universe, Satoru would've been able to convince you to stay?

If your answer is yes, then how? And if not, then why? :o

"maybe there was a universe where he convinced me to stay. though in truth, i don't consider that to have any less of a tragic outcome than my deflection. my fate was set in stone from the moment riko was murdered." he drawls.

But suppose your world, for whatever reason, was different, and it was possible for Socerers to become Non-Socerers, aka they lose their ability to control cursed energy and hence lose their technique.

What would you do if the socerers closest to you lost their cursed energy and become 'monkeys'? Would you see them as any ordinary monkeys, or would you hold them at a higher standard than others? What if it was Saturo? Or Ieiri? Would you throw away your belief entirely? What if you had lost your cursed energy? Would you then be considered as useless as the other monkeys? Or because you are the leader and main thinker behind your belief, would you be held at a higher standard?

Again, this is just a hypothetical that I've been thinking of. It's not meant to disprove or reconstruct any of your beliefs, I would never do such a thing, of course. I'm more just curious about how and what you think. :]

suguru exhales softly, adjusting his sitting position.

"these are an awful lot of questions, so i shall only answer the overarching two; what i would do if my loved ones became non-sorcerers and what i would do if i myself became a non-sorcerer. i shall treat them like two entirely different hypotheticals, and not situations happening one after another."

suguru looks you over suspiciously, brow raised.

"mm... thank you, i suppose." he murmurs.

"hm... i don't know if i can... top secret information, you see..."

I'm really curious, what other piercings would you like to have? And do you have more that's hidden? :>

he thinks for a moment. "hm... when i was younger, i always wanted an eyebrow piercing." he muses. "although, i can't exactly remember if that was because i actually wanted it or if satoru had told me i would look good with one."

"as for additional piercings... i only disclose of the ones you see. anything else potentially hidden... none of your business, i fear." he smiles vaguely.
