There are so many things that I've assumed I was the cause of, even if I didn't remember doing it, because they were things I'd been thinking of doing, and because, well, they seemed like things I would do.

I'd kind of forgotten about that, having spent so long imagining how things played out that they felt like actual memories. But now that I've been forced to think back over them... I'm no longer sure.

I'd also kind of assumed that it was a universal experience to just... do large and significant things without being aware of having done them. But - since there are now people who might answer if I ask - is that the case? Or is my situation an outlier?
