'‘A mother's love feels like 1 in 64 billion grains of sand...', damn, damn.'', 2020, oil pastels, 29.7 cm x 42 cm
This is the first painting I ever sold. It sold for 20k (BDT) to a family friend. It was one of the happiest days of my life. My mother initiated the sale. I think using family connections is important to the betterment of all of society. I think nepotism, or rather, fear of nepotism, is plaguing America's conscience. I think it is very much okay to play up your god-given advantages. Some things rely on luck, some things rely on family fortune, some things rely on your outer beauty, some things rely on your work ethic, some things rely on your passport, some things rely on talent, some things rely on instinct, some things rely on your intellect, and some things rely on the friendships you make along the way. Some things really come down to statistics. Performance statistics, that is. IDRK. What is love, if not taking pity on men? I think nuclear families are a bunker, and I think people really should get out of their comfort zone and learn to make friends that aren't just podcasts or internet radio shows. Haha. Lest, you think, these people really are @ing you. Maybe, they fucking hate you, and they don't want you to get even the slightest sliver of fame and fortune. Really, let's just try and make it on our own. Wink wink.
