Hey everyone! I recently finished a commission of Jotaro Kujo from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures.

Here’s a walk through of how I made the giant chain that attaches to the collar. I figured that by using foam it would keep it super lightweight and prevent it from distorting the collar (which is suppose to stay up right!) And I personally like how vibrant the metallic spandex makes it look. Suits the Jojo esthetic perfectly imo.

Honestly I had a blast making this costume since I love this anime sooooooo much 😍💖 Anyone else hyped for the new part coming out soon!!??? I sure as fuck am!!

When you’re getting started with cosplay, it can be overwhelming to see all the different crafting supplies that are out there. It’s hard to know what you’ll really need, and it can be easy to spend money left and right for different things. I thought I’d show what tools/supplies I have & what I generally use fairly consistently while I’m working on cosplay. These obviously aren’t things you HAVE to have, but they’re things that help me out while I’m working on stuff.

First step, a good assistant. Tali here is always helping me with working on projects.

“Thank you for the quote, I’ll keep it in mind and get back to you sometime when I’m able to commission you!”

“That’s a little out of my budget for the time being, but thank you for your time. I’ll contact you again if/when I am able to pay!”

“I appreciate the quote, but i’ve decided to wait on the commission, thank you!”

“I understand your prices and that they are fair, but I am unable to afford this for the time being! Good luck on the rest of your commissions.”

What NOT to say when an artist quotes your commission higher than you expected:

“WAHHHHHHHHHHH”

“@-@ Holy crap that’s expensive!!”

“Could you maybe give me a tumblr follower discount? :3”

“Your prices are too high!!!!”

“Really?? Just for a sketch? I could draw it for half that!!”
