can i be angry about something

the way i didnt even know caribbean heritage month existed 😂 why do we always ignore hispanic heritage months but celebrate liitteralllyyy everything else? we SHOULD be celebrating everything that we already celebrate yes and im glad we do but why does no one ever stop to celebrate hispanic heritage months? i remember being in high school and trying to get my friends to care about hispanic heritage month for me and no one ever did. the school celebrated other months publicly but wouldnt gaf ab hispanic heritage month, at least not when i was there. i never see anyone post about it or anything. and i honestly feel like its this way about so much of hispanic culture. people only care about hispanic culture when its a commodity lol
