1. People are unjustly blaming Niki and it is fucking unfair

The way people are using a tragedy to hate on Enhypen is beyond me and they are part of the problem. They keep the cycle of blaming and bullying people, thus pushing them to unthinkable things. Niki, first of all was not even talking about anyone in particular. Also he was merely placing a boundary.

You clearly have no idea how this type of things work, I suggest you read essays about this topic and how placing blame on people for someone taking their life will only lead to a violent cycle.

The fucking issue is with fan who are bullies. People blaming Niki on twitter unironically have been exposed for sending threats to other people so ... fucking hypocrites much. THIS POINTS TO AN ISSUE ABOUT CYBERBULLYING FOR FUCKSAKE, STOP USING IT AS A WAY TO JUSTIFY YOUR HATE!

2. if you are feeling like you are part of the problem (eventhough you did not even know anything about the situation before hand)

A lot of people are saying Engenes are the most toxic fandom ever and undeniably with everything that transpired... yes this fandom as a WHOLE is. That doesn't mean every Enhypen fan out there is a bully?

If you see this and feel like you are part of the problem even if you did nothing, step away from the phone. It is not good because people are using the umbrella term of engene as being the reason someone passed.

3. Be on the right side

On twitter you will see another side of Engenes. People who are trying to protect the victim and Enhypen against cyberbullies. People who are raising awareness against cyberbullying and spread suic!de hotlines for fans who feel triggered. Join if you feel helpless in all of this. Spread awareness and kindness.

4. If you worried about Niki and Enhypen.

Dont feel alone if you are especially worried about Enhypen right now. I am insanely worried about those boys. I hope Niki has his hyungs right now. We forget he is literally a fucking kid.

What can you do? Spam in weverse nice things to him. Report comments on insta, tiktok and twitter under post that is spreading misinformation. Report accounts spreading hate, DONT FIGHT, they are NOT willing to listen.

Report, send nice weverse posts for Niki, spread awareness and kindness and that is all we can really do right now. BUT remember take time for yourself first before you help, this is an insanely tense and charged situation PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!

distract yourselves. for me i had a saved tiktok folder for Enhypen and that is what i used to regulate myself but maybe you need to step away from Enhypen/kpop for a bit, then watch a movie, listen to music, do something physical. Whatever you know helps you and if you realise you have nothing outside Kpop that makes you happy, I am sorry but you need to find something cause that is not healthy for you.

Urmm... If you are talking about the specific focus on Latin America as of late... what do you expect? They just got off their tour in Latin America and their new album has a lot of influences of Latin American music so they are giving credit where credit is due (which is rare in kpop so no wonder people are acting weird about it). This is cultural appreciation. A lot of people do it with korean culture (expecially if they are kpop fans), anime fans do it with Japanese culture.

Sunghoon likes Brazilian funk music. I am glad that they are not just taking influences without credit. I honestly respect them a lot of this.

and honestly tower is a card that encapsulates everything going on with enhypen. a change happened with them, a crumbling of what they (and their fans) thought would be forever. change can be hard, brutal but the most important thing is to figure is how to move forward. a tower moment can be tough, earth shattering if you may, but when the dust clears ... things can be better than they once were.

and i see that with enhypen, this moment that changed their future, put a lot of scrutiny on them from fans and non-fans alike has brought the six of them closer, their spirits has been rekindled and they are hungry to prove themselves. i have faith in those boys. and us fans gotta do whatever we can to help.

Use this post as a breather/break when u have consumed too much hate for Enhypen (Jungwon biases rn, this is especially for u babes) and need to emotionally regulate

1. Stop looking at the comments

I wondered why I look at comments constantly, even though I know that there will always be an argument, a fight, someone not willing to listen to the points u make. I think it is cause I was looking for validation. I need validation for the way I think a lot. Even in this situation, I need validation, so I look for it in the comment sections. But I can find validation in myself. The emotions I feel when I see people disrespect Enhypen or dismiss what Jungwon said because he was drunk or because 'maybe' the company made him say it. That annoyance is validation enough.

Don't scroll the comments looking for a fight...

2. If you are not in a good mental space, don't pick fights with internet trolls

Some (actually a lot of people) who disagree with you about this, will continuously misunderstand you. Because people are set on it. People (including you babes) are going into that online fights with headstrong emotions and not letting ur stance waver... that is a receipe for disaster. (or u could just ragebait them to exhaustion, i have a fool proof rage bait guide on my page 👀🌸). those fights r not worth ur mental health. beside looking at twitter i say the front line for this army is pretty fucking ruthless.

3. Remember the facts

Fact being Enhypen, a group of grown men that knows how to stand their ground, they will speak for themselves, and obviously as fans we should support them as much as we can in whatever way (but not by risking ur own mental health). Enhypen has got the most competent leader. And that leader got the most supportive eldest member, Jay, to help him. Fact being that what we as humans obsess over the bad. This isn't the 'downfall' of Enhypen. Puh-lease. U should see the non-enhypen fans who have become interested in enhypen and Jungwon because of all of this. They have lost fans, but ngl they were all... very parasocial. So good riddance 🥂. Facts include that the Sin:bliss album is pure drugs, it is genuinely gonna be their best album. Updated fact: Jungwon will not be the villain you want him to be. He made a mistake UNKNOWINGLY and apologised for it immediately. He took accountability, he apologised, he learned, and he also made sure to start the live depending on the time in Kazakhstan. I am gonna learn from him. When I make mistakes (which I undoubtedly will because I am human) I will not throw a pity party for all the sharp, unkind words I get. I have always been one to apologise immediately when I make a mistake, but seeing the way Jungwon did it so collected and reflective... I am gonna be gentler on myself and be more composed. Making a mistake is not a reflection of my pitfalls but of the fact that I have so much more life to live and so much to learn. Jungwon, I hope he is also going to be gentle on himself.

4. Stop doomscrolling hate.

When u catch urself doomscrolling through hate posts. Chuck that phone away. Breathe in and breathe out even longer counts. Take a walk. Lie on ur acupressure mat. Regulate yourself in ways that u know will work for u (if you haven't discovered it, maybe it is time you do babes). These obviously don't only apply to this whole Enhypen thing. Use it whenever, wherever necessary!! If you want to rant/ask for help with emotionally regulating, I will welcome u with open arms (virtually).
