Itoshi Sae has one secret he'll take with him to grave — that he's a freaked out bastard who finds sexual gratification in his own pain, that of which is strictly caused by you.

The epiphanic moment happens randomly.

It was late into one evening, following his arduous training that seemed to take up all his time. You were angry at him that day: at his lack of effort in your relationship, his quiet avoidance towards you, and the heat of his searing silence.

Your frustrations fell deaf on his dismissive ears, as they always did, and before you knew it, your hand was reeling back with intent.

If words couldn't reach him, then surely a strike to his face would knock him off his high horse.

And boy, did it do exactly that.

Your palm connected with his cheek, the noise of your rage echoing unsettlingly.

A daunting silence ensued following your mishap. And you watched, with fear clawing up your throat as his head hung low, one hand tracing his bruising cheek in deep thought while the other fell low and lingered near the waistband of his sweats.

The horrifying realisation of your violence dawned upon you, and before you could even spit out anything to explain the unforgivable deed, he grabbed your wrist, grip steady and unyielding as he roughly guided it over to palm the bruised flesh.

"S-Sae! I'm, I'm sorr—!"

There was nothing that could have ever prepared you for what he'd say next.

Nothing.

"Do it…" his words trailed off as he nuzzled into your hand, a trail of goosebumps crawling up your spine as he placed a chaste kiss on it. The warmth of his lips lingered with a buzz as he gazed at you with half-lidded, lust-glazed eyes, and with ardent desperation, he demanded for your aggression once more. "Do it again."

"What—?!"

"I've realised something…" He pulled your hand back slightly only to guide it back over to slap his cheek again, the self-inflicted pain tainting his ears a pretty red comparable to his hair. "So do it again, Y/n."

You always made him feel normal, and, most importantly, loved.
