god i wish nippon sangoku was easier to recommend because it's just, so good. the character work is impeccable, the artstyle is immaculate, and the storytelling is probably some of the best in the season. there's just such a deftness to how it navigates moral complexity and conflict through wartime strategy and political scheming, all within the span of 23 minutes. it's such good television and i need more people on it actually.
