I marked 90 days of consistent meditating yesterday. I'm posting because I'm proud of myself and to keep myself accountable to continue. I'm happy to talk about me experience with anyone considering trying it. I tried and resisted a long time before this. Thanks to @austinkleon for writing on your blog that you just st on your stairs and close your eyes for 10min. The "no big deal-ness" and specificity of that really helped me. Very unexpectedly, @jerryseinfeld 's commitment to daily meditation did too. The desire for the consistency for myself attracted me as much as the results people talk about when they do it. Besides the surprise of the first time, I felt the first substantial shift in my body after 30days.

Can see just how close I was to catching the ball that got hit right at me in the left field stands in batting practice before the last Jays v Rays game. It was a Lupus in Bad News Bears moment. When it's coming right at you, it's a whole different thing. Different than hockey, that's for sure. Given how this felt, I can't even imagine how Bautista walked to first after a 98mile fast ball in the ribs. And yes, I was the only middle aged woman in the stadium with a glove. For the entire story worth a lot more to it, and a lot more fun come to my new 6/15 show in Oakland: Yarn. All heart. Http://yarn.show

Jays v Rays with my brother. Ball got hit to me in batting practice. I'd never seen batting practice before. My brother knew you could go early to see it. A lot more story on this later. No glory for me I promise you. This is the first or second Jays game for me since the very first in the Dome. And maybe my 7th MLB game. I can tell you one thing. They hit the ball hard.
